![]() When it comes to the NES it was home to a number of ground breaking games, and some of these just happened to be the starting points or at least early entries of some of Nintendo's own big hitters. Mention the roots of platforming and Mario's early 8 bit days are likely to crop up. These days also saw the birth of The Legend of Zelda series, with the appearance of a top down adventure tale like no other. Fast forward to the N64, and those same series are seeing new twists on the classic gameplay as each one makes the jump into the 3D realm. Ocarina of Time marks the first time our elven hero Link tests the waters. The result is a game that has won praise from many sources and for good reason. Put simply, this is one of the greatest masterpieces of the N64 era and still stands as one of the better adventure games to come out.
THE GOOD:
- Good Story. - Awesome Music. - Good Graphics (for those days, that is). - Good Gameplay. - Fun Cheats And Glitches. - Replay Value. - Interesting Cutscenes. - Many Nintendo Related Easter Eggs. - Many Items And Variety Of Weapons. - Can Save When Needed. THE BAD: SUMMARY:

THE GOOD:
Simple yet excellent and addicting hack and slash gameplay, boasts some of the best graphics on the N64, slick controls, amazing soundtrack you’ll find yourself humming to both in game and out of the game among a decent variety of items and a simple, decent plot THE BAD: SUMMARY:
THE GOOD:
Let me start by saying that I know this is a late review. This game debuted before The New Millennium. By modern, gaming standards, this is an old game, but not ancient. All the same, most gamers have enjoyed this to completion. What I am about to say is not going to tell anyone anything that they do not already know. In spite of this fact, I believe it is necessary to review this game in order to make a tribute, to honor the game, and so that I would not need the Ocarina of Time itself to restore how I feel about this game now, so it will remain when the future comes. Now, getting down to it, I will say that I have reasonable respect for the graphics. Considering its time, it is pretty good stuff. The character designs are actually pretty well done. Overall, this game has a decent look to it. We might be more adapted to the current, mainstream graphics that look almost real now, but these graphics are not bad. The characters all have...
THE GOOD:
-The graphics in this game are magnificent, although it may not compare to today's in-game graphics, it was some of the best the Nintendo 64 could do at the time. -The items were very good, every weapon is useful in some way in the game, although some more than others. Each weapon and item are fun to use or to help in dungeons. For example, the boomerang, its only use in the game was in lord Jabu-Jabu's belly, but you could still use it for anything you want as a child. -The music in this game is to have one of the best scores in any game, everywhere you go, there is sure to be some type of music playing that perfectly fits the area you are currently in. The favorites of many fans is usually the Overworld theme to Gerudo Valley, or the Overworld theme to the windmill in Kakariko Village. -The game play in this game is something worth mentioning, the control scheme is very easy...

THE GOOD:
Addicting hack'n'slash gameplay; user-friendly gameplay; quite a moving storyline; quite good graphics for back then; free-roam; quite a range of sidequests; dialogue, although not spoken, suits the game very well; plus more. THE BAD: SUMMARY:
THE GOOD:
This game was a fantastic turn with the franchise in every way. It had a long wait for another console version after the SNES game. And the wait made the game a legend as its name. The good. It may come as a surprise, but the graphics at the time were phenomenal. The first game of the franchise to go from 2D to 3D. It also gave the game a more adult feature with its darker story line. Many lives were ruined as a *certain event* happened; caused by the vile Ganondorf. This is also the first game that Link was thrown seven years into the future with turned him into an adventurous young man. Which is a very interesting quality to the game because Link is often a young boy of twelve. More good points given to the game are the length, story line, and battle system. The game is fairly long. Took me about a 24 hours to beat. And I played this game for over three years. The story line is fantastic as well. Zelda is kidnapped at a young age Link somehow gets...
Difficulty: Semi-Easy.
This is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. For those who have played games such as Final Fantasy and the Tales series, you'll know that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is not after the events of the earlier Zelda games, nor before them. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is about a young boy named Link, who you can name. He has a nightmare that he sees the evil man, Ganondorf, try to get Zelda and take over the world. Then a Fairy named Navi, who you will grow to hate, comes to Link and tells him to go to the Deku Tree. You must first get a Sword and a Shield to get there. Once you get through the Deku Tree, it gives Link a Spiritual Stone known as the Kokori Emerald before he dies. Navi tells Link that he has to go to Zelda and speak with her about the Emerald. After speaking with Zelda about the Emerald, Link's quest officially begins to get the other 2 Spiritual Stones, the Goron Ruby and the Zora's Sapphire. Of course, Link gets them and...
