One day when I was a small ten-year-old boy--I played pokemon cards with the "dudes" around my block that I maid a wish which was " I wish that a pokemon game were to exist for the Nintendo 64 console 'me too'" said Xerepolis (Oscar) and his friends. After a couple of months, a Pokemon game finally was created and to my surprise, it was on the Nintendo64 (N64) console! I was so happy that I ran to the nearest phone in my house and called the nearest gaming store in my town. They said that they will get the game on the date this game would be released but I got mind three days earlier than the average of the people around my block (I was a good friend with the shop owner [Joe Sic was his name]). Well, I finally got the game and popped it in my N64 console and to my surprise; the intro was "lame" and horrible! Oh my "arm pits" (That is stating that the intro wasn't that great)--I thought that an animal made that intro! I was actually expecting that the intro would be a small cut-scene...

THE GOOD:
The graphics for this game are well done.

THE BAD:
Exception to this being a pokemon game, there is nothing bad.

SUMMARY:
The point really of this game is to go through every type of battle there is and get your prize at the end of the match.I think that the fact that you can't get mew in this game, sucks.Mew is the best guy in the game besides his evil form and clone mewtwo.

This game is great for Pokemon lovers, or if you're just a fan of small cute furry stuff, except for some................

Fight gym leaders, tournaments, or just a friendly little match against a CPU!
Thats not all...there are an overwhelming 100 more Pokemon! Each with their own special stats and elements.
If you have Pokemon on the game boy, dont let them miss out on the 3D fun, if you have one if those thingies that let you play your game-boy games on the Nintendo, hook up your game and there you go!!

THE GOOD:
You can use Pokemon from your Game Boy game paks. Mini-games for up to 4 players. You can play GB Pokemon on your TV screen. You can manage your GB data.

THE BAD:
High difficulty level. Sometimes the Transfer Pak doesn't work properly. You have to save your GB date properly to use it. Not compatible with Pokemon Gold & Silver.

SUMMARY:
Nintendo made such a big fuss out of this game when it came out, and it certainly lives up to the hype. Basically this game gives Pokemon trainers the chance to be like Ash and battle their way to the top of the Pokemon heap. There are also mini-games for up to 4 players and a place where you can play your GB copy of Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow right on your TV.
A nice feature is that if you don't have your own Pokemon, you can rent Pokemon to use for battles instead, a nice feature for those who don't have any GB Pokemon games. You can also play a mode that lets you face the Gym Leaders from the...

THE GOOD:
- 150 Pokemon
- Able to use on TV instead of GameBoy
- Graphics are pretty good
- Just like a Pokemon Battle
- Interesting championships
- Fun Tournaments

THE BAD:
- Graphics are good but not so
- The attacks are pretty sucky

SUMMARY:
I say buy the game if your a Pokemon lover like myself but don't if your just a random gamer. Buy Pokemon Stadium 2 if thas so. I thought this game was good for a 1 on 1 gamer. Its like Mortal Combat but with Pokemon.

THE GOOD:
3D Battles, prize Pokemon you can earn, fairly good minigames

THE BAD:
the odds seem to always be against you. For instance when you are confused you will always hurt yourself n stuff.

SUMMARY:
This game is a great game to battle all your Pokemon from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow.

The graphics are nice in this game. It's cool seeing all our Pokemon battle in 3D.

The sound is ok, but its more of midis and elevator music.

The minigames are kinda fun too but get boring after awhile....

THE GOOD:
I actually like this game. The graphics were good, and the music was pretty good too. I don't like Pokemon all that much, but I got hours of enjoyment out of this game. I like the little mini games you could do, and the elite four, and almost everything.

THE BAD:
There isn't much that I thought was bad, but I didn't like how weak some of the pokemon were, and how you couldn't really level up.

SUMMARY:
Overall this game was pretty good. The mini games were the best, and I liked the one on one battles.

So I gave this game a 3 out of 5, mostly because I don't like pokemon that much, but that only took away 1 point. ^^

THE GOOD:
Um...I'm not sure. Um...*looks at the book* The graphics?

THE BAD:
*throws up* Do you really want to know?

SUMMARY:
Even when I actually liked Pokemon *sigh* (Those were the bad, old days.) I hated this. The graphics are okay. That's it. I haven't played this game in years. Someone might see me! I have my dignity at stake! The creepy, little filth called computers cheat! I'm serious! Even I know that a certain Pokemon doesn't have that attack. The mini-games are also horrid. Taking pictures wasn't so bad, though. If you move the camera over far enough, you won't have to take a picture of a Pokemon. This game was $60. I don't get it. Rayman 2 was $20, and it was so much better. This game is just so awful. Pokemon think they're so cool. It's horrible. Don't buy it, whatever you do! I'm begging you! It's awful! *starts crying* It's just *gasp* so *gasp* bad! *wipes away tears* I'm gonna be sick. *runs into...

Graphics: 10
the graphics are superb. Also you can play the Red, Blue, and Yellow versions on your N64.

Sound: 5

This is where the game suffers. Instead of the real pokemon sound effects you here the sounds from the Gameboy version of pokemon which I thought ruined the game.

Gameplay: 8
Nice structure of gameplay in this game, even the mini games were fun to play. The good thing I liked about this was you can use your pokemon from you red, blue and yellow versions.

THE GOOD:
Pokemon game thats on the 64 and not on the Gameboy system, you can transfer your pokemon from the gameboy games into this via transfer pack, lots of great pokemon are advailable to use, and its a fun game when you get into it.

THE BAD:
Sometimes it gets boring and you feel like you're having to put up with a chore just when playing it.

SUMMARY:
When this came out, it was really something else. Everyone was so pumped and ready for a new pokemon game that isnt on the gameboy system, but rather on the N64 console. It turns out that it actually is a really great game and its worth the time that you take to play it, even though it may seem like it falls short when it comes to replayability.

First of all, you can import your pokemon that you've leveled up from the Pokemon Blue and Red versions via transfer pack. This helps out greatly because you can finally see those pokemon that you've been training on the big screen come to life...
