THE GOOD:
--Adheres to the old Yoshi's Isle game play.

--Theres always something more to get so you can play it forever.

Awesome music and FX.

Great 'Story' Line.

Cool game play and varied levels.

Creative, I mean who would of thought of a Yoshi engorging itself on all that fruit?

THE BAD:
I will admit that its rather annoying as far as hip drops go and how you cant do nothin.

Its not perfect, and can get repetitive if you get bored easy.

It isn't a multiplayer.

SUMMARY:
To win, eat 30 fruit and don't get killed doing it.
Advanced players go for melons and that is what provides challenge for even the best of the best.

This game has an opening video that says it all, but generally speaking its nuts in a good way, great music effects, and its as far as a story goes well thats what it is lol. But seriously, I had a really good experience with this game, and its very easy and very hard at the same time. Easy if you play it to kill Bowser as your final goal, hard to collect everything, I mean hard, not just to find, but to accomplish and collect.

Secondly it takes after its predecessor Yoshi's Isle in that you eat things to get eggs, hit blocks to get eggs, and generally romp around.

Thirdly the graphics are so fantastic since its 2D that I just felt like gaping at the brilliant colors, 3D effects, and smoothness.

Fourthly you advance from page to page picking different levels and it alters the end story line however you beat it. This game is just so good that if you havn't bought it yet, go out and buy it, cuz its the kinda thing thats fun to get out once in a while no matter how old it gets.

P.S. It isn't multiplayer, its a 2D one-player.

THE GOOD:
- Storyline
- Enemies
- Audio
- Music
- Characters
- Replay value
- Creative Levels
- Level Choices and Variety
- Great game, especially for Beginners
- Can obtain a Shy Guy to retrieve one chosen Yoshi back

THE BAD:
- Graphics
- Limited Attacks
- Short
- Fairly Easy
- You only have one chance for each Yoshi until they are taken away

SUMMARY:
Yoshi’s Story is a game, which is about 7 little baby Yoshi’s trying to beat Baby Bowser and get the ‘Happy tree’ back. In this game, you must first collect a certain amount of fruits in each level. In some levels, you must beat a boss after collecting the fruits. You have three level choices for each world - you choose one of the three to complete. After you complete all the levels and then get to beat Baby Bowser, you get the Happy Tree back you can see how happy the little Yoshi’s really are! There is still a lot to do in the game even after you beat it, because then you can try to get the most of Yoshi’s favourite fruits and get the highest score. This game has been a great game for beginners up until now and always will be.

THE GOOD:
fun; you'll want to play it again.

THE BAD:
Way too easy.

SUMMARY:
Graphics: For a 2D game on the N64, the graphics are great, colourful with good animation and smoothness is incredible. You won't find your jaw hanging on the flaw though but it manages to kind of look 3D, while at the same time, being 3D.
8/10

Sound: Totally addictive! After hours of play you will find yourself humming the opening tune over and over until you go mad. This is the games best department.
9/10

Gameplay:
Great. This is good coming from an adventure game but there are a few things to be desired. The controls are a bit fidley andthere isn't much point to the hidden Yoshis being hidden.
7/10

Longevity:
Takes about 3-4 hours for an average gamer on their first try but the last boss fight is decidedly average. Too easy. A pretty good game but too short compared to others.
3/10

THE GOOD:
Considering this is a 2D Platformer I think it is quite a good game. Great characters and music as well.

THE BAD:
A bit sissie and soppy. Could've been better if it was 3D and had a more wide range of characters

SUMMARY:
A Quite good game with lots of good levels and bosses. Could have been a lot more teenage like for me but good all the same. If you could've been able to choose other characters that would be great and a lot more cheats would have made it more fun to play. I like the ide for a tounge as a weapon. Overall a very good game but not really Mario 64
