Background

3-D WorldRunner is similar in style and perspective to Sega's Space Harrier, but features more platforming elements. It is notable for being one of the few games to use red-and-blue glasses for a 3D effect. This feature can be toggled on and off using the select button. As the "World Runner," your job is to liberate the exotic planets in Solar System #517 that have been conquered by the evil Drax and his Serpent Beast cohorts. You'll run through eight different worlds, leaping huge pits, and blasting enemies in your path. The sharp, colorful graphics and surprisingly good 3D effect are the game's strong points.
