Heavy Barrel

Like most NES shooters, Heavy Barrel is a port of the Arcade classic also titled with Heavy Barrel. Unlike the Arcade version, you can only fire you direction you are shooting towards, which eliminates some of the free play that was in the original, but makes the controls easier. Heavy Barrel is based on the famous war shooter from the Arcades called Front Line, released in 1982. Heavy Barrel was also based on Ikari Warriors.
