THE GOOD:
Gameplay.
Graphics (for the time).
Audio.
Leaves a good first impression.

THE BAD:
Hard to find your way around.
Required a bit too much trial and error.

SUMMARY:
Lastability: 7/10.
Mostly because of some dungeons and being fairly hard at first, but 1 extra because you get lost so often.
Graphics: 8/10.
It's a NES game, so it has to be 2-D. It's also an early one, so it has to be a little like Super Mario Brother's graphics. Seriously, it looks good.
Sound: 8/10.
Few soundtracks which are very memorable and well done. The Zelda theme...sorry the "overworld music" is probably the best of the lot, considering we're hearing that a lot. Only problem - Not too many. About as many songs as Super Mario Brothers, but other games had more. Why not this game?
Gameplay: 7/10.
It's harder finding the dungeons than killing the bosses. You often had to look up guides on Gamefaqs or just trial and error that map! Outside of getting lost, everything is executed well. Exploring dungeons, exploring fields, slaying enemies, everything a Legend of Zelda game is.
Overall: 4/5
The original Legend of Zelda game really set the standards for all sequels/prequels/WHATEVERS and leaves a great first impression. Well worth buying!
