From just playing the campaign to playiing with you friends, AoM, is amazing. With stunning graphics and a fabulous storyline, this game can't be beat. Atain heroes and create you own scenios, with a great creating feauture which is both easy to use and good. Age of Mythology has it all.

THE GOOD:
Maybe not as great as AOE2, this game features three ancient cultures which all had mythological beliefs, and each of these three cultures is divided into three gods and their lesser gods beneath them. Each god gives you it's own special powers, strengths, and special abilities. The story the game provides is very interesting, and will involve all the cultures, and all sorts of strategies and scenarios. As always, this game offers lots of freedom, you can play any way you want, but sadly, the edit mode isn't as good as it used to be.

THE BAD:
Some would say the new edit mode is a vast improvement, but for older gamers like myself, this was just confusing. The edit mode offers all sorts of wierd extra things you can do to change the specific texture of the land scapes, and simply putting together a battle of your own is hard, since you are given a previously made land area, that you have to edit, simply so you can start to edit it to your own...

THE GOOD:
Really nice graphics, some nice sounds effects and some good campaigns

THE BAD:
There are not many bad points about this game but you will only like it if you like these sort of games

SUMMARY:
This game is pretty dam good; it has really good graphics and some really interesting areas like desert type places (which is my favourite), grass planes, islands and even the underworld! I really like the sea and water effects it add an edge to the game.

About the gods; there are quite a few in the game as a whole. Each one has its own god power, each of these are really well presented, there are completely different sort of powers as well, like one God might make it rain to improve the crops and another will send huge asteroids flying at amazing speeds destroying everything in site. Every God also has powers what work al the time automatically like improved building times for building buildings or fast gold mining.
