AquaNox 2: Revelation

"Aquanox 2 at first was not what I expected. I was expecting more of a full FPS mixed with the odd underwater battle. I was not that impressed at first, I felt cheated that you had to point and click and listen to a fairly weak storyline before I could get my hands on a ship. But I was slowly swayed by the mix of point and click & adventure by some very nice voice over and the even stronger playability of the game."

"Calling Aquanox 2 – Revelation a bad game would be an exaggeration. But saying it is a good game would be impudent and would break at least one of the Ten Commandments."

"Massive has created a setting for the sequel that's noticeably grittier, opting to use earthy colors like brown and rusty red instead of the azure blues and bright greens of the original AquaNox. Still, flashy environmental effects like reflections, lighting, and shadows are quite prevalent in the game, and you will even be able to make out and appreciate a rendering system that draws realistic aquatic vegetation, like kelp and seaweed that sway with the ocean currents."
