THE GOOD:
the effects are good nice 3d ships perfect replication of the series

SUMMARY:
Good job
I was waiting for so long for this game to come out.

THE GOOD:
This is a good game with (nearly) perfect graphics. It has a very good storyline from the start to the end. It's easy to play and the best thing is that you are in command !!!

THE BAD:
If there are many (I'm talking of 10-12 ships) at the same time, the game could slow down a little, but it isn't disturbing.

SUMMARY:
Everything I told above.

- the cinematic view is very good, because there you can see the ships and they are very detailed. The music is also very good.

THE GOOD:
the stunning graphics and the awesome control that you have over your starship. Superb simulation!!!!!!

THE BAD:
I can't think of any since it hasn't been released and the developers hasn't revealed any cons about it.

SUMMARY:
even though the game hasn't been officially released I think this game will stand out from the other star trek pc games that hasn't been very successful. Why do I say this? I say this because i have been looking at some of the new screenshots involving the game and OMG the graphics are so stunning and so realistic, they look like they just came form the series!!!!! Honestly the features that the development crew are promising are so cool and the features make you feel as if YOU ARE REALLY commanding the actual ship as a captain officially!!!!! One feature that makes the game shine is the 3 tactical modes:crew control(this is when the your 4 crew members of the tactical, science, helm and engineering take...

THE GOOD:
Its Star Trek in concentrated, interactive form!

THE BAD:
Too, too short by far.

SUMMARY:
One thing hits you when you start to play this game. You realise just how much you KNOW Star Trek. You've watched the various captains commanding on the bridge of a Starship, you've seen them in action. So after the three minutes it takes for you to get used to the extremely simple interface it becomes so easy to slip into the role you almost feel like you're wearing the uniform.

The interface is very simple. Simply use the mouse to move your view around the Bridge. Look at a crewmember and click the mouse and a menu comes up related to that crewmember's post. Do you want to warp to another star system? Talk to the Helm officer. Do you want a scan of an asteroid? Talk to the Science officer.

The officers themselves are a little on the blocky side, which is the one of the only two real graphical let-down in the entire game....

THE GOOD:
Nice user interface and combat engine

THE BAD:
I wish you could walk around inside the ship and talk with other crew members, like in 10-Forward.

Also, there is no star-map or galactic map. It would be nice to warp around star systems randomly with random encounters and randomly generated planets to explore, outside of the main story.

SUMMARY:
Great game, a must for any Trek Fan.

Needs more interactive content, a bit too linear.

THE GOOD:
I love the graphics in this game they ROCK! Also the interface is easy to use.

THE BAD:
Sometimes the communication can be a bit clunky, but good overall.

SUMMARY:
I lked the way the game follows after the TV series: It is like playing a tv episode of the next generation, BUT you are IN CONTROL!

THE GOOD:
Great Graphics ... loved the way the game felt. You feel like you are the center of the universe and the entire ship revolves around your every thought. Great accessability to the the options for running the ship ... great potential to develope your 'own' style.

THE BAD:
Althought with time you can master the skills of running your vessel it took me a while to feel like I really knew what I was doing in order to be confident you have the skills for the essentials to survive. This is not a pick up and go game ... the learing curve is steep (you are forced to learn fast or you die)

SUMMARY:
I've only had the game a few days and I already love how you can just put it on like a suit ... it fits great and you feel comfortable wearing it.

><><>< I haven't figured out yet how the voice command works so if anyone can help me out with that please email me .. I'm on MSN too - Thanks ><><><

THE GOOD:
Excelent graphics, easy interface, good story, and good music. The best part is that YOU are in command. I recomend this game to all Trekkies.

THE BAD:
Too short, non-interactive, and you have no options to go on away teams or roam the ship. Also, you are limited to the area of space known as the "Maelstrom"

SUMMARY:
This game has excelent, believable graphics. When I first played the game I felt like I was on the bridge of the Enterprise-D, or U.S.S. Dauntless, as it were. I liked the realistic graphics(like those of Starfleet Command) and the ability to go in all three dimentions(such as Starfleet Academy.) But with these stunning graphics, there were some, small, disappointments. The starfields appeared very static; they seemed to "overlook" physical laws, such as gravity. Also, the lips of the characters were very out of sinc. Overall I felt like I had the uniform on; I felt like saying "Make it so, number one."

THE GOOD:
Makes You feel like you need to be wearing a Starfleet Uniform! Nuf said!

THE BAD:
Character animation in game are low poligon. I would have liked a more realistic Pecard etc. Some of the commands that are vital to complete a mission is not taught during your fist training mission. So you need to either look hard at the manual, or figure it out the hard way. Toooo many cardasians?

SUMMARY:
All in all the game is exactly what I need in a Star Trek Game. Very detailed Federation enviornment. Good battles(Simular to Klingon Acadamy)with tactical and ship explosions. You can tell the weapons officer to target the sheild Generators, then the warp core. The graphics are great, but I felt sort of ripped off by the glow effects(ship lights etc). It's cool, but not really accurate and fuzzy. But I was so happy to be in my own command of a Galaxy class, and now Sovourn class starship that these things were of little importance.

THE GOOD:
Great fun, about time they did something like this...and make it work.

THE BAD:
Am I the only one who would blow Saffi out an airlock? She does nothing but take up space, and report your failings to starfleet with a restrained glee.

It's like the admiral and her have something going.

I know it's just a game, but she is just a useless character.

SUMMARY:
Would be nice to see future upgrades that allow you to move around bridge, and maybe other parts of ship...occasional away mission?

Also, the "captain" could have a voice, instead of having the 'ever helpful Saffi' do the speaking for you.

As it is, the captain is mute and wheelchair bound.
