THE GOOD:Amazing character detail and terrain modeling. The sound is superb and the ambient effects such as dirt kicking in your face, bullets wizzing past your head and leaving white marks - good rag doll physics.
THE BAD:
Way too short - I beat it in less than a day and a half - multiplayer options say that my cd key is in invalid (and I'm not the only one this is happening to)The aiming is a little ridiculous. Your hands aren't THAT shaky.
SUMMARY:
You take the role of Sgt. Baker in this "tactical shooter". You are able to control up to two fire teams at a time - sometimes even a tank or two. The story opens up on the night of D-Day from the paratroopers perspective and leads you all the way to D day + 8 with the taking over and defending of Carentan. Through out the story characters will make attachments to others - some will die, even ones that stick around for several missions will just get popped by a sniper or die in a gun fight and they are gone. You do everything from follow orders, to lead fire teams, to escort a tank through a dangerous road way. Bullets wizz by the screen with force - shaking it and causing white marks to form on the edges, blood and dirt kick up in your face when you're hit and being shot at - you really feel like you are there taking some of that action. I'd have to say it's an over all amazing game but just needs to be a bit longer - and maybe difficult. It is a must have for shooter and war buffs everywhere - especially if you have an up to date PC.
