PC  Zero Hour: Good Enough to Kill For 4.8

THE GOOD:
The Nine New Generals: GLA Toxin, GLA Demolition, GLA Stealth, China Nuke, China Tank, China Infantry, USA Super Weapon, USA Air Force, USA Laser.

The Ability to choose how much money you start with in a Skirmish.

Challenge Mode.

THE BAD:
You can't skip the cut scenes.

Long load times, during which you stare at your faction's emblem. Very Entertaining. Not.

Campaign Mode seems much less fun due to the fact that now you can play General's Challenge. And Campaign mode is also much, much more difficult.

SUMMARY:
This expansion pack for Command and Conquer Generals improves the fun of the game greatly. Zero Hour is much better than Generals, mostly because of the additions to the available generals, buildings and units. Also a great addition is challenge mode.

Added buildings and units include:
China--The Internet Center- Put up to 8 hackers inside and they will continuously make money.
GLA--Battle Bus- Can put up to 8 units in it. Useful for taking out bases with very few people.
USA--Laser Turrets- Only available with the Laser General, they are the best form of base defense.

Challenge Mode:
In Challenge mode, you will face 9 Generals with your selected general. You face the other 8 generals, plus an extra, very tough general. This feature of the expansion alone will provide about 10 or 20 hours of gameplay. And it's much better then Campaign in my opinion.

THE GOOD:
Nine generals (basically sides which are modified from the original sides), all new challenge mode, nice new units, the excellent gameplay of the orignal game.

THE BAD:
Some bugs, lots of online cheats and n00b players, poor balance, Artificial (Un)intelligence

SUMMARY:
Just when you thought C&C Generals couldn't get any better, here comes Zero Hour. Heaps of new units and the generals add a whole new level to the gameplay.

The generals are basically the original sides with some new units and other units taken away, as well as other modifications. For example, there's the Air Force General, Malcolm "Ace" Granger, who has the King Raptor, Combat Chinook, Point defense lasers on his (cheap aircraft) and other enhancements, but the price of vehicles is increased and he has no tanks. With 9 of these unique factions in the game, new strategies and tactics are needed for domination.

With the generals come a brand new game mode- The General's challenge! Choose a general and play against 6 other generals in a test of skill that becomes increasingly harder as you play. At the top is a secret boss general, who has access to a variety of units from all the factions. Can you overcome this challenge?

There are also plenty of new units and Generals Powers. The Avenger (USA) ruthlessly cuts down aircraft and missiles with its lasers, the Helix (China) takes the customisabilty of the Overlord to the skies (literaly), while the Combat Cycle (GLA) can take your men at high speeds, even over cliffs. The American Spectre Gunship circles over your enemy raining death with its gattling gun and howitzer, the Chinese Carpet Bomber delivers a hail of bombs to the enemy while the GLA GPS Scramler renders your units invisible to th enemy. And that's just the beginning!

With the third patch coming out, most of the cheats, bugs and imbalances should be fixed. You really should get this game if you're into military RTSes.

THE GOOD:
Improved AI, more units, more playable generals, more maps, new mode (General's Challenge)

THE BAD:
Can get a bit too easy at times, not as fast as it's 2D counter-parts, story mode is shorter than the last one

SUMMARY:
This is the extension of C&C Generals and comes with it's improved AI but that can cause problems as when the computer's base has been reduced to a certain level, they will sell all buildings and it will be a short fight. Not a lot of new maps have been put in and some of the old map have been altered. You can play more than 3 different generals this time, you can be a super weapons general for the USA, the tank general for China, the stealth General for the GLA, etc. There are about 12 different generals to choose from, each with their own unique units and buildings e.g. the super weapons general has the EMP missile launcher, the tank general has the Emperor tank (which is better than the Overlord), the stealth general has hijackers with stealth while on the move. But everything has a down side to it, the AI in easy is too dumb, hard can be too hard at times. The new story mode is shorter than the last one and you cannot play the final general in general's challenge

THE GOOD:
This game has quite a few newfeaturesthat include new units, "sub-generals", and upgrades. The online play is VERY addictive, and the camaign can be intresting at points

THE BAD:
Online Gameplay is compltley plauged by Cheats, "Mismatch Noobs", and problems related to stats. But that is not a problem with a game as much as it is with the players.

SUMMARY:
The game is basically everything addictive in the original, combined with some new features. A big online problem is that the SWG is WAY overpowered. This has led it to be banned from the majority of online games. That needs to be toned down a little. A bunch of new maps would help, though you'll never see me drifting too far way from Twilight Flame, which is, in my oponion, the best map the game has to offer. It is a good buy, and I am very content with my purchase.

THE GOOD:
Contains a good variety of new Units
There are 9 different Generals
New Missions

SUMMARY:
If you liked CC Generals, then this is a MUST GET.

First off, it keeps the same three Sides: GLA, USA, and CHINA. Then it makes 3 different generals for each side-- each General having different abilities/units.

Now this idea allows for new units such as: Super Black Lotus, King Raptor, Stealth Generals who can camo all units and move tunnels anywhere, or Infantry generals for China, and even Super Weapon Generals. This allows for you to be a general who focuses on suicide attacks for GLA, or if you feel like it you can be a Chemical GLA General-- allowing for different options.

The ADd On adds quite a lot of new variety to the game-with all the new units it makes the game MUCH better!

All in all its a MUST have game for CC Generals Fans.

THE GOOD:
New Units

THE BAD:
Same Maps, minor changes and Weird Missions

SUMMARY:
Well when I got the game and started it up I was excited to be playing Zero Hour, I went and spent $30.00 on the expansion pack. I first started to play in skirmish mode, I was not the least happy with the maps, They had some old maps and some new ones "nothing great" then I started playing the mission maps as all three diffrent teams and I will tell you the missions make no sense what so ever. Mission 3 for instance you need to take your Special forces guy to the chemical factory to destroy it, instead of them giving you tanks to protect your guy they give you drones who get killed in the first ten minutes, the logic would be they would give you tanks? Da EA, Iam returning the game, demanding my cash back. The only positive side is that you do have new units except you need to choose in skirmish to either with the new units or the old "That Sucked" I wouldnt recommend to buy this game.
