THE GOOD: everything but the grafxTHE BAD: the grafx SUMMARY: i loved this game throughout. the missions and multiplayer were top-notch, as to be expected from westwood studios. i would love to see this side of C&C expanded. perhaps a Tiberian Sun version, RA version, and enev Generals version. I love this new view on the C&C war. I would also like to see this idea expanded, perhaps a fully working base that can actually be built from ground up, and repaired. Limited units until required structures are built, huge full sized C&C maps that allow for up to 8 teams. I know it sounds crazy but DAYAM! it'd be cool. Go get this game, you'll see what im talking about. it's an awesome new side to C&C and it has much room to be expanded and improved. blahblahblah just to take up space OK THE END. |

THE GOOD: The online mutlt-player which doesn't get boring, the gameplay, the graphics, the storyline missions, basically everything...THE BAD: Lag in multi-player, and the levels can get pretty damn hard... SUMMARY: I love this game. I am a huge First Person Shooter fan and this game tops it all. It has great multi-player modes and I was very impressed with the storyline missions. I have spent countless hours on multi-player because it just doesn't get old. I have enjoyed this game more than any online game I have played.
Overall Outcome: Buy It! |

THE GOOD: Awesome graphics engine, amazing AI, detailed maps.THE BAD: Poor performance on machines with 128mb of ram and under. SUMMARY: This game has the makings of a new Command and Conquer series, or at least will change the future of CnC games to include serious 3D, strategy, and teamwork. It deserves a better score, but moderation kept me from giving it a perfect 5. The AI can become almost unbeatble if you play it right (or some people may call that playing it wrong) and the missions are a challenge, to say the least. Many bonusses, and a whole lot of explosions (mmmmm... proxy c4.... ) make this game a must have for all the Westwood or just FPS fans out there. |

Command and Conquer Evolved... | 4.9 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Totally new style of C&C games. You take the role of the Commando, arguably the best character in C&C! A good range of weapons to choose from. Vehicles! Good missions, fun to play. Online mode is great too!THE BAD: Only one offline multiplayer level. SUMMARY: Command and Conquer Renegade is not what veteran C&C players are used to. Since the original Command and Conquer was first released, every other C&C game has been the same genre. Real Time Strategy. Making a First Person Shooter from the C&C Universe was a gamble for Westwood, but one that has paid off. Renegade is a great game and it's fun to play both online and offline. You choose how to use your character to perform the missions. You can sneak past some enemies, or you can go in, shoot first and ask questions later. There are Secondary objectives that can be completed. In one mission, you find a NOD Obelisk under construction. If you can kill the Engineers working on it before they escape, then the Obelisk is useless in the next mission, thereby making that mission slightly easier for you. In my opinion, this game is a must-get for all C&C fans, and a great buy for anybody who likes First Person Shooters. Now... I gotta get it back off my friend... |

C&C Renegade - Better Than The Classic? | 4.7 0 comments |

THE GOOD: Graphics, Storyline, Weapons, EasyTHE BAD: Shotgun Only In Multiplayer SUMMARY: This game is a very different twist from the overhead sky view of previous C&C games. This game is a first person shooter and it's a very good one at that. Multiplayer is a very exciting mode in this game.
Weapons range from an Assault Rifle to a Nuclear Strike. The Shotgun is only available in multiplayer but it's useful when running down tight corridors.
The vehicles in multiplayer each have their strengths and weaknesses. The armored vehicle isnt the fastest vehicle but its well armored and it'll get your troops there. Downside is the lack of decent firepower.
The single player mode is very good for a predominately multiplayer game. The storyline is good a gripping and each mission is different.
Overall this game is very well done and it's one of the best FPS of the year. Go pick it up. |

THE GOOD: Such a great game, where to begin? The missions in sigle player mode are quite long. Most of mine take me about an hour to complete. And that is only on normal setting. And how can you go wrong with all the vehicles from the command & conquer universe right at your finger tips. Nothing more fun then the wreaking havoc with a huge mammoth tank. And then you got the good guns: A little C4 here, and Ion cannon, Nuke beacon there, and a little tiberium to boot. And then you have the great multiplayer. C&C mode. Base vs Base, Good Vs Evil. The classic story. And with new weapons and vehicles being tested in the beta you know there is always more coming. THE BAD: The guys in single player don't react very well, but still hard when there are many. Which is often. SUMMARY: If you like FPS then you better get this game. It is well worth the $35 that I paid for it. Definitely worth the few bucks. You could buy this game just for the multiplayer mode. The maps are huge and lots of room to fight in. And do all you sneaking tactics. What a great game!!! |

THE GOOD: Graphics, gameplay, Command and Conquer vehicles and weapons. The C&C multiplayer mode. Little to no lag, even on a 56K! New weapons and vehicles added regularly to multiplayer. Possible team based mission in the future...? SUMMARY: Anyone who enjoyed the RTS games and a good FPS should buy this game. It's a whole lot of fun, and you definately get what you pay for in this game- a single mission can take over an hour to beat! |
