Background

The story takes place in the Grand Central City, where ruthless gangs vie for power. You play as Tre, a young Outlaw driven with an ambition to being respected by the street. He will be on a journey to protect his community from other gangs as they battle for street supremacy and building up his reputation.

The player must protect his own people from exploitation and abuse, and defend his crew from the violence and treachery that permeates the society he lives in. The game itself is set within Grand Central City, a sprawling metropolis where ruthless gangs are vying for power as the police struggle to contain them.
