Grooverider: Slot Car Thunder

Background

Based on individual slot car racing, the tracks are defined by grooves that run through them. Support from 4 to 8 cars will compete as you change grooves to pass or avoid obstacles. Features include crossovers, loops, jumps, chicanes, power-ups, and switches (which trigger environmental obstacles and events).

Gameplay

In single player mode, gamers can play arcade or championship. They can also unlock 4 bonus races, and create custom championships using the tracks that have been unlocked. In multi-player mode, up to four players can battle it out, competing for first place. To win, players will need to collect and use power-ups including a blaster, booster, shield, track mines, and the ability to jump over obstacles.
