SUMMARY:
This game was the sequel to the controversial Grand Theft Auto. It keeps the top down view but in my opinion it improves a whole lot in the game. For a start the graphics and animation of movements is much, much better than the first game. Everything is smoother in this game. The game also has a darker feel to it, which suits the gameplay very well. Again you need to reach a certain score to advance to the next level. This time round you can save your game at the start point, but at a cost of $50'000. There are three levels for you to do in all, and three separate maps.

One of the biggest changes to this game is the introduction of the gangs. Every map has three gangs and the Zaibatsu are on all maps. Every gang has a zone and a trademark car. The gang members patrol their zone and carry...

General/Summary: Frankly, I got this game just because of all the 'talk' about how violent this game was. Well, yeah, this game is violent but so are 90% of all games out there especially ones with a gangster/mob theme. Just because you can kill a civilian or cap a prostitute doesn't mean you should, it isn't a mission objective. Most of the parents making all the noise are just plain paranoid and stupid.

That being said, this game kicks ass. I played GTA1 and 2 2d counterparts and this third installment fits in very nicely.
Gameplay: Throughout the whole game, you'll need to constantly gain cash through odd jobs like car theft, taxi driving or fulfilling a mission for some mob boss/ghetto gansta.

Navigate everything and anything - cars, trucks, boats, tanks ANYTHING!!! mwahahahaha. Run your victims over or go on foot, arm yourself with an ak47, uzi, flamethrower, bazooka to annihilate all your enemies. Talk to people. Rig vehicles so they explode near...

This game is way to similiar to the original, the graphics are poor and the controls are reall akward but for good the missions are unique and great fun to do, the radio is a nice touch but the people talking gets annoying as does that fact that your can't tell where you going, buy GTA 3 100x better than this.

SUMMARY:
well this is one of those games that you find your self playing and playing and playing. you'll do some very mean things to the nice little peds. like hit them with your car, shoot them, bash them, thorw moltov cocktails at them, and so on and so on.

the graphics are pretty poor. its a top view of your character and they look kinda cartoony. but it doesnt matter the game is still fun.

the controls are a bit difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it an its all fun. you'll soon find yourself being chased by a group of gun wielding cops while you run backwards seting them on fire with your flame thrower. the driving controls are fine. but i must say that the best vechicle is the big ol' tank
