THE GOOD:
A game that almost matches the perfection of Baldur's Gate II. All of its merits are almost identical to BG2. There are different rules, though, as well as the addition of feats and skills, which I think are a necessity to a good D&D game.

THE BAD:
More Hack 'n Slash than RPG

SUMMARY:
THIS GAME IS HORRIBLY UNDERRATED!
The storyline is very, very good, and the game is as hard as you want it to be. It's really a choice game, you have an opportunity to do what you want within the parameters of the storyline.

Sadly, not many good reviews are given to this game, but trust my opinion, folks. You really ought to try this out.

A few places and characters return, including the incorrigible Oswald Fiddlebender and the Dragon's Eye, which includes a specific level caught in a time stasis.

This time stasis is the most creative idea I've ever seen in a game. Basically, you go back in time a day after every sequence, and repeat what you did, thus forever changing what happened the day after. It is also the source of a lot of confusion.

Buy this game. Do it for yourself!

Graphics:
Set to the highest setting, they are very good, and you can cut down any slowdown in the configuration menu.
Weather effects like lighting, rain and snow look awesome, and every single monster has loads of detail. When you kill an enemy with a powerful or critical hit, they fly everywhere in a shower of meaty chunks. YUM!

Audio:
Plenty of voice acting and character sounds. You can even record your own or download some off of the internet.
Loads of weapon sounds, enemies grunt realisticly, and footsteps make the sound you would expect on wooden or wet floor.
The music gives a grand sense of scale with nice orchestral pieces, at one point it will be very calm, then next when the enemy attacks, it picks up the pace. Nice.

Gameplay:
This game is great. People compare it to Baldurs Gate and say it isn't as good without giving it a chance. While there are thousands of items and plenty of sidequests, this game is more "hack and slash".
There are so many different character possibilities, but in this game they have added two brand new classes. The Barbarian and the Monk. Barbarian is strong and the Monk is the master of unarmed combat. They both gain more special abilities as they gain levels, and can be very powerful.
It would take too long to describe just these two characters in detail, but they make for interesting gameply. It is recommended that you play with a party of 6, although you don't have to.

Spell casting is a vital point of gameplay. You must have a Cleric, Sorcerer, Druid or Wizard in your party to survive, because you need heal spells, and a strength bonus spell can really change the tide of the battle.
I chose to have a Druid, Sorcerer, Cleric and a Wizard in my party.
The Wizard is an all rounder and the Sorcerer is mainly for heavy repetetive combat spells.
The Druid harnesses the power of nature and can turn itno very powerful animals. It also has uniquely awesome spells.
The Cleric can turn undead (which destroys loads of undead opponents if your level is high enough) and ressurect people which is VERY handy.

Dialogue/Talking with NPC's plays a very importsnt part of the game as well. This game is huge, and to help you get through, you must use your Bluff, Intimidate and Diplomacy skills to talk yourself into getting an item or out of a sticky situation.
Some NPC's offer little to no information at all, whislt others can fill in large parts of your quest journal.

The combat system uses old D & D rules, which I don't really understand, but made for a pleasing experience anyway thanks to my varied party.

I also recommend playing online with your characters on Gamespy, you can exchange items, talk, level up etc. It is very nice to do.

Longevity:
This game should provide about 20-40 hours of gameplay depending on who you are and how much you exploit the game. Then there are also the mods available on the Internet, which can change the game entirely.
An awesome game overall.

THE GOOD:
I think this game has a feeling of ease when it come to battling the hordes of monsters this game has to offer. Also, this game has awesome graphics and has easy-to-use character creation.

THE BAD:
Sometimes the battles seem endless.

SUMMARY:
In the long run I think you should buy this game, it is easy to use, it is a challenging and fun game to play, its creativity is just phenomenol.
