THE GOOD:
It's the best game I have ever played. It's is addictional and I love the small screen on the right!

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
I think the weapons are great, the game is not so hard to play but you need some skill. The bosses are nice made up and Snake is the best !

THE GOOD:

SUMMARY:
This is a grat game. Hideo Kojima has outdone himself. The game perfectly picks-up from the already popular metal gear series. The graphics are kind of average, for example, all characters have a fixed face "plate". The game is long enough but could have used a couple of more levels. Hideo has tried to substitue extra levels by making you go through a few levels back-and-forth. The cutscenes are a big highlight of the game and Hideo has taken pains to make a convincing storyline. Great storyline, long enough game (12 Hours), powerful game engine, great looking environments

THE BAD:
Graphics could use some work, but not not the worst out there, clipping/auto-aiming problems, unrealistic end fight - difficult

SUMMARY:
Metal Gear Solid is one Sweet Ass Game... I'd say after Diablo II, it's the most addictive game i've played to date. Although the graphics aren't spectacular, they rank up there with some of the better games out there today. The game was well thought out by Konami & their efforts made a game that deserves to be reproduced as a Movie. The game almost seems like a movie itself with the cinematics throughout the game and the opening cutscenes with the credits that resemble those of movie opening credits.

I played the game briefly using the Keyboard, and I agree with Drew in that this was a very complicated process. I gave up on that one, and started using our Logitech Wingman Extreme...

THE GOOD:
This is the best game so far on playstation. it surpasses games like syphon filter 3 and Rainbow six. This game was well made and presented to the point were it leaves you feeling like you just watched a hollywood movie.

THE BAD:
The Graphics werent as polished as many games played on the PS1, but considering the amount of dialogue contained in the game, its no surprise why it falls short in that area. But even with the poor graphics and repeatative area of gameplay, it still outdoes many action games released on the PS1.

SUMMARY:
After playing Metal gear solid several times on the PS1, i have absolutely nothing to criticise about its ingenuity. It deserves its reputation as one of the biggest games on the PS1, and for someone like myself whose played PS2 games, before actually trying out metal gear solid, its almost impossible to believe i tolerated its graphics.
