"As an overall package, Mevo and the Grooveriders has a lot to offer - and even more content should become available in the coming months. The game won't keep you going for long if you get good, but it's something that should casual players dancing for quite a while. "
"the game is fun as you'll make your way through the varied worlds, collect rewards, pull off combos, unlock badges and awards, and use power-ups. If you hit enough correct notes during each of the levels you'll advance to the next and unlock silver, gold, or diamond CDs (at least one diamond CD is required to advance to the next world). Play well and gamers can unlock ways to customize Mevo with funny hats, facial hair, and dance moves. The music in the game is also downright catchy. With playful funkadelic tracks, rock riffs, and some electronica beats, there is certainly a lot of good and original music to sink your mouse into."

"We had a chance to get our hands on the title, and while the early levels might not be a challenge to music-game enthusiast, the later levels require quite a bit more concentration to master. It is also worth nothing that the game is very accessible, both to those new to music games and for gamers with limited mobility. Mevo and the Grooveriders is currently available on Steam for $9.99. As a fun shoutout to the Steam community, Red Rocket created custom Left4Dead character skins to outfit Mevo and his buddies. You can also purchase Mevo and the GrooveRiders through Big Fish Games starting April 16. "

"This is an indie rhythm game where the goal is to press either the left or right (or both) Shift keys as your Mevo avatar passes by the notes. Think of that bouncing Mickey Mouse head from those old sing-a-longs. It's very similar in concept to Donkey Conga for the Gamecube, with the main difference being that each song is played on a 2D side-scrolling level. You lose life by failing to press the appropriate key at the right time, with extra life lost if that key was on a monster or obstacle. "
"-- the game offers enough fun for all ages. It's one of those titles that just has a certain swag to it, not easy to put your finger on, but you know it's a quality make by Red Rocket Games. So come on out and hang out with Left for Dead's characters Bill, Louis, Francis, Zoey and Hunter."
