Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance

THE BAD:
Has a lot of video problems
Controls are bad
A lot of things not ported over to pc properly..

SUMMARY:
Ok Lets start with all of the good things first,
The Story is very deep and involving, It involves terrorists taking over an offshore cleanup facility, Boats getting sunk, And goverment secrets.

The sound is amazing, Especially if you have a decent setup, The music composition is enough to make anybody get watery eyes, Especially when one of the characters die.

The graphics are pretty good, Provided you have a high spec PC you can improve over the PS2's quality, BUT there seems to be quite a common problem, When 'Model Quality' is turned up above 50% You start to get a really nasty white fog all over the screen, But it doesn't affect game detail too much.

And now onto the bad things,
The controls, At first they are pretty much impossible ot use, But...

Nothing new, shoddy conversion, whiny girlfriend (!?)

Review
Stealth suit... check. Modified M9 pistol... check. Thermal googles... check. Computer hacker communicating with me through an ear implant... yup, it's official. This is a guy thing. I'm sneakin', I'm tranquilizin', I'm snappin' necks and snappin' pictures. I'm da Mac Daddy of ex-marines. This is good. Wait a minute, though. Now all of a sudden I'm a reject from a bad 80's hair band bragging about how much VR training I've had and being nagged at by my clingy girlfriend:
"Do you know what today is?"
"I've been worried about you. You haven't saved in a while." (!?)
"Do you remember when we first met?"

Oh well, at least I still get to snap people's necks... after the cut scenes. And that pretty much sums up my experience with this game so...

THE BAD:
only one it is too easy

SUMMARY:
the gameplay is good but can be a bit easy and the story line is brilliant.Also the VR mission are brilliant.the guards can be a bit thick (very)
and are slow to react.the detail is good you can make noise to alert in water on metal.
the weapoms and items dont have loads of selection but can be useful.as you can see most of this is good only one bad point.
