Escape From Monkey Island

THE GOOD:
It's brill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THE BAD:
It was difficult (but not too much, more challenging really!!)

SUMMARY:
After a while I got annoyed at some bits and so i checked ur walkthrough. Which helped but still made the game interesting!!!! I must say though that if you are going to playthis gme then be prpared for a long night, because it is addictive!!!!! Also make sure that you try EVERYTHING!!!!! And i mean everything. Even if you dont think it'll work. Some of the things in the game i only figured out by accident. And believe me thats saying something. If ur stuck. Which you probably will be. Then make sure you check out this sites walkthrough, it was ace. Or if your the type that likes to do things on your own. Then just try everything with everything.

THE GOOD:
Brilliant graphics, sound and picture. Fun game keeps you occupied for hours, mind wracking too!

THE BAD:
puzzles too hard, monkey combat boring. But all this can be changed with a good old walkthru!

SUMMARY:
An excellent game! I never played 1,2 and 3, but from the reviews i have read, 4 seems to be the best one.
If you havent played this game then i suggest you do, and if you havent got this game in your collection, purchase it now. Its well worth every penny.
If you get stuck, do the craziest thing you can think of to get yourself moving again, because usually the craziest thing really is the answer.
Its amazing what you find out in the end, the whole time, and Herman wasnt really Herman Toothrot!
I suggest you play the game to find out what i really mean.

THE GOOD:
I like the randomization factor that is in this version that makes you do some things on your own and that you can't rely on the game cheats for everything. Nothing drives me battier than people who beat games but only do so by following the walkthru step by step. What was the purpose of buying the game then?

THE BAD:
You can't use your mouse as in previous versions of the game.

SUMMARY:
Very good series of games. I love the humor and the puzzles are always stimulating. I tell everyone I know about the games and try to get them hooked on them, that way there will be more people begging for new versions for the rest of us Monkey Junkies. Speaking of which, it is about time for another installment, isn't it? I guess I will have to go back to the beginning and start over again (again).

Funny, hilerious, and cool. Another Lucasarts classic.

THE BAD:
Some puzzles slightly too hard, monkey fighting completely boring.

SUMMARY:
My third best adventure game, but that's high praise. Apart from a few parts where it just gets annoying, Monkey Island 4 is just too good for words. Its just brilliant. Its good to see that insult sword fighting has returned, as has many other things, like another real look around monkey island, never seen since the first game way back in 1990. If your into adventure games, and fancy a laugh, this is for you.

Taking a contraversial new stance, Escape from Monkey Island is now in a keyboard controlled 3D camera with pre-rendered backdrops, and the result is absolutely amazing. The graphics are one fo the best things about the game, and still retain the comedy feel that we've come to love so much about the monkey island series.

I Think that it is a GREAT game all of lucas arts games are good adventure games that take a long time to beat cus their hard!!!

its not as good with using the keyboard, the mouse was better and its too complicated now with stuff like 3d stuff (that dont even look that good)!!!!!!!!!

This game is everything that you would expect from Lucas Arts: Mystery, intrigue, suprise, and especially humor!

THE BAD:
The only thing I can come up with is the cheat book with the game isn't always clear in everything.

SUMMARY:
The game is excellent, providing the listener with humor from heaven, suprise enough to knock someone's rocker over, and the overall effect of the graphis is great. The cutscenes are phenomonal, the voicing is awesome, and the whole thing is fit for a king!
