NBA Live 99

NBA Live 99 is the fifth out of what is now eight games in the NBA Live series. This means that it has been given three years to age, and when you are a sports game, you do not want to be given any time at all to age. Think of all of the advances that have come up since 1998 when this game was made, just on the playstation alone. Not to mention the changes to Playstation 2 and XBox. It may seem like I am ripping on this game just because it is old, and I am doing that, because if you play a newer version of the NBA Live series and then play NBA Live 99 you will realize that it is not as great as it once was.

When NBA Live 99 first came out, it was the most spectacular looking basketball game out on the market. There were all new features and stats for you to follow. It went light-years beyond NBA Live 98. It was a truly spectalular game.
