NBA Live 2000 for the PC was the best sports game that I ever bought since NHL 94 for my SNES. It is an excellent NBA-Sim with great Arcade-like playability.
Graphically, it is wonderful. Not only are the player faces in here, but the player's face shapes. With the player detail toggled to "High" the game is mesmerizing. But unfortunately on my PII 450MHz, nVIDIA TNT 16MB, 256 MB RAM, the framerate drops significantly, though playable, I would have enjoyed a higher framerate. So I usually play it with the player detail set to medium where te framerate is about at 50fps running at 800x600. But turn even the res to 650x480 to get about 60fps because i love high framerates. The animation is great. They have the player movements of Kevin Garnet, Larry Johnson, Charlie Ward, Tim Hardaway, Christian Leihtner, and Mitch Richmond, wich makes for a much more realistic experience than from games past since every player has their own body language.
