THE GOOD: Charater creation Camera angles Game Layout Game storyline Lots of submissions to gain xp Tough enemies, not your average weaklings Lots of spells to choice from Loads of weapons, potions, scrolls, teammates Great coloring
THE BAD: That I don't get to play this game enough. Store price, but hey, someone has to make money and keep the game free on the net.
SUMMARY: You love to sit around and rp with your friends one night a week, of course you do. Go all day through school or work dreaming your back in charater. Once you play this game you will be hooked on continuing the story every chance you get playing on the pc until you beat the game. Travel through NeverWinter destroying hobgoblins, dire wolves, eveil fighters, and your occasional lawful good human.
SUMMARY: This game is very very fun....the only problem would be some of the graphics. The toolset lets you create stuff...and you can create your own weapons and everything. Now that i am done, i will just make dots....................................... .................................................. ............................................... .............................................. ................................................... .................................................... ................................................. .................................
THE GOOD: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
THE BAD: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
SUMMARY: What can I say? it's the best game i've ever played since mythical baldur's gate 2. So if it's posibble i AAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAa aaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaa
After playing the Baldur's Gate RPGs, I was made a fan for life. In BGII we were informed of the existence of Neverwinter Nights, and were promised that we could use our BGII characters for that. Well, since they upgraded to 3rd Edition D&D Rules, ya can't use your BGII character - they'd be way too powerful. But I don't mind. In my opinon, Neverwinter Nights is great! You've got both online and offline play, and when you complete the single player game, you can download player-build mods (built using the Auroroa Toolset - comes with the game) to play more! The graphics are great, combat is amazing, your player dodges and parries when enemies attack, and the plot is addictive.
In my opinion, one of the best RPGs available for the PC at the moment.
THE GOOD: Nice graphics, fun to play and the play online option is nice.
THE BAD: The online severs are poor, it glitchs out at times and is a tad repetitive.
SUMMARY: I liked this game a lot it was interesting I liked how it played and it looked good and ran pretty well on my pc. The only problem is the fact that on rare occasions it glitchs out and the fact the online servers are extmrely poor. Regardless it is a very well done thought out and interesting game.
THE GOOD: This game has many good features, most notably, free online play. With hundreds of servers hosting different and varied online modules, there is likely a server for every sort of gaming style. With regards to the game itself, the most notable features are the excellent graphics, character customization, and the DM toolset. For all of the reasons above, I consider this game well worth the money.
THE BAD: Unfortunately, the game is quite buggy. That, combined with the lackluster single player campaign, somewhat ruined my initial impressions of the game. It was then that I went online and found where the game's strength truly lies.
SUMMARY: This game is groundbreaking for its ingenuity, most notably the free online play, game/character customization, and DM toolset. (especially in a gaming age where Everquest charges ten dollars a month and multiple expansions to keep playng.)
THE GOOD: Well the Good things, um...The plot line is good very creative. I like the Packages for the Druid, very sweet. And I love my big black kitty kat panther! >^-^< Added the Background Sounds are very nice at times. Though the ones in the City Core of the one city is just disturbing to me...
THE BAD: Well the graphics for the characters themselves could have used more work, and the system is a bit confusing to me. Talking about the Feats part and all...So much new stuff and so different from BGII and BGI and I am still getting used to the game itself. It is also very Laggy on my computer.
SUMMARY: Well besides the bad stuff, and the godly lag that comes over me when I play in the City Core it is all together good. The fighting graphics could use some work though the details used to animate the spells are still sweeter then ever. As long as I can use a bow and arrow with a druid with a big panther kitty I think I shall be happy....
THE GOOD: Great graphics and a storyline on a par with the quality of Bioware's masterpiece - Baldurs Gate II. Familiar gameplay, near-unlimited customisation and the intuetive module pack.
THE BAD: Surprisingly buggy, and many good features left out in the finished versian. Despite what you may hear, this is nowhere near as good as Baldurs Gate + Sequals.
SUMMARY: This game was the most anticipated Western RPG game since Canadian developers Bioware made the unbeatable Baldurs Gate II. The game had been made in a new 3D engine that Bioware had created, sparking off a round of cheers, as it showed the evolution of Baldurs Gate, and a load of dismay, if it herelded the end of Bioware's Infinity engine, that had worked so well in the past.
Still, its natural selection, and 3D must take presidence in this gaming age. Now the product has been finished, but how good was it?
Starting straight off the mark, this isn't as good as...
THE GOOD: It runs pretty smoothly, has nice grahics, the ability to download and write your own modules is nice and it generally is addictive.
THE BAD: I found it glitched out too much on my pc and it did get a bit repetitive
SUMMARY: Plays quite like baldurs gate which really isn't a bad thing. It does get a little repetitive after a while but is still an enjoyable game and the module ability is nice aswell and increases the games live span. All in all I think this is a great game and one of the better pc rpgs.
THE GOOD: - The graphics - The character creation - Some good gameplay features - Conversations
THE BAD: - Sound is not THAT good - Buggy - What's with all the barrels? - Plot not always interesting
SUMMARY: Opening Comments:
So, here's the next best thing from Bioware after the awesome Baldur's Gate series. There has been a great hype about this game and I cannot blame the game press. It is a new standard in AD&D gaming, that's for sure. Revolutionary 3D gaming in an epic Forgotten Realms environment. New and improvement gameplay which makes you forget Baldur's Gate in an instant. The story is so great, that all other stories seem lame and unoriginal. Everything in this world is possible, the most amazing creatures will pass your eyes and you cannot imagine that you will ever play a game like that ever again in your life! At least, that's what the developers said. Let's find out if it's true, shall...
