Background:
A fast-paced futuristic racer that takes the setting and design of the taxi driving scenes from Luc Besson's film "The Fifth Element". More than 25 cars will be featured in the final game, including a taxi cab, a police car, a pizza delivery truck, and several other sleek, futuristic-looking rides.

Gameplay:
You are catapulted into heart-stopping aerial races, from the city's seediest slums to the top of the most luxurious skyscrapers. Get behind the wheel of high-speed cars and flying machines and experience the thrill of 3D racing on 12 spectacular urban 'circuits' from 4 different districts. You will discover numerous obstacles, both fixed or moving that you must be sure to miss by a hair's breadth to avoid spectacular crashes!

3-dimensional action allows you complete freedom of movement on a vertical axis as well as horizontally using a new and unique gaming dynamic. New York Race gives your imagination free rein.

There are more than 25 high-tech flying machines to choose from, of three different sorts, including the famous taxi and the police car. Whatever category, each car has its own features: speed, acceleration, braking, vertical and horizontal manoeuvrability, weight.

In every race, you can pick up 4 bonus points which give you an added advantage: to slow up an opponent, to damage the nearest opponent's vehicle, to protect against collisions and to boost.
