THE GOOD:

Story

Music (Air Combat, Desert: priceless)

Graphics

New enemies

New weapons

Belial's humor

THE BAD:

Black Tarot is ridiculous

Weaker weapons than in PK and BOOH

Difficulty unbalanced

Annoying bugs

Easy to find the secrets

Some fights are too long

SUMMARY:
Qui bene amat, bene castigat

Painkiller Overdose was at the beginning a mod, like a Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat or Red Orchestra. Dreamcatcher was interested in it and began to pay the developers. Result is that Overdose became a stand-alone to buy. Goodbye free mod!

Overdose is released 4 years after the original Painkiller and its add-on Battle out of Hell. However, it's an error to think that Overdose is perfect for gamers. It's not a Minerva Metastatis, a great mod for HL, released also nearly four years after HL2 release.
