THE GOOD:
Excellent graphics, great skill and class system.
Easy, intuitive interface.

THE BAD:
Addictive, addictive, immersive.

SUMMARY:
Surprising gem of a game that came outa nowhere!
Players can choose from:

Gladiator: Surely nothing to crow about (excuse the pun there folks) but this is your ‘tank’ class in the game, this guy hits harder than a fistful of freight trains and can take more punishment than a whole room full of people into BDSM.

Seraphim: Heavenly magic using types that claim to be the direct descendants of a mystical army of angels. They supposedly fought the good fight on the side of the Gods a long time ago and kicked much evil ass. They’re not as physical as the Gladiator so it’s wise to make sure you use magic first then switch to close in fighting.

Wood Elf: A tip of the hat and a big nod to Mr. Tolkien, without whom we wouldn’t have so many elves, dwarves and wizards with big hats and staves. These creatures of the forest have pointed ears, like to use Moon Magic and bows in combat. Keep at range if you can and make sure you use the special skills and abilities of this class.

Dark Elf: These are just evil elves; they don’t have black skin or white hair like the typical Dark Elves (Drow) of the generic fantasy worlds. Nor do these guys worship spiders. There are some similarities however, the dark elf priestesses are the ones that use magic and the males are Battle Drones that can use unarmed combat and poisoned blade weapons.

Battle Mage: Powerful magic users that have a nasty line in offensive and defensive spells, not too bad in close quarters combat but they tend to prefer to lock their foes in with the ‘Circle of Fear’ spell and then pummel them with more magic. Very useful to have in a tight spot as the same spell can impede the path of monsters as well as seal them in.

Vampiress: Take one spoilt noble aristocratic knight and add the bite of a dangerous vampire to the mix. The result is this particular lady found herself cursed with the usual blood drinking and murderous intent that goes with the generic vampire package. She however bit one of the Seraphim and the blood infused her with power, gave her back her soul and helped put her back on the right path.

Excellent graphics, great skill and class system.
Easy, intuitive interface. Addictive, addictive, immersive.

THE GOOD:
Although people may compare Sacred to Diablo or Diablo 2, the game has a unique twist to it. It combined the diablo frame with regards to quests but added more.. and I mean more.. QUESTS!

Another good thing would be that there are more character classes... 6 to be exact.

THE BAD:
It's the traditional hack and slash game... or if you're a spellcaster, the magic and magic type.

SUMMARY:
Graphics
The game's graphics is above average even when you don't have the settings set to full. Unlike D2: LOD and its game patches, the graphics are more fluid and the detail of the characters and NPCs are much better.

Sound
Turn up the volume on this game! The game has a great audio package. Even the voice acting is quite appealing to listen to. I used to skip the voice sequences after reading the text but with this one, it's actually entertaining to listen to. The wise cracks differ for every character class though.

Storyline
There are a lot of quests! And I mean a lot! Aside from the main storyline, each town has their set of miniquests and I can tell you that they're worth going through. The game is quite long, but it's not boring like some of the Fantasy RPGs that sprouted after Diablo 2.

Overall
A must buy! You'll enjoy this game if you're an RPG/Fantasy RPG/Adventure type of gamer. Lots of twists to the story, an entertaining set of character classes, and cool graphics. Have fun!
