THE GOOD:
- Tons of building models to choose from
- Excellent sound effects and background music
- Beautiful vistas and well made graphics
- New concepts of energies interesting
- Theme based city guidelines help out a bit
- General fun of watching sims wander around your city
- Varied sims types wandering around the city

THE BAD:
- Very little player involvement
- No real economy to speak of, making money was ridiculously easy
- Odd employment system
- Sim happiness level and energies not reliant on each other
- Barely any need to build essential services
- Balance issues can be bypassed by not needing to balance at all
- No learning curve or difficulty
- Slow framerate, especially with large cities
- Lack lustre "natural" disasters
- Pointless achievement system
- Sim types did not seem to change tastes, and were rare to see in the city
- Much of the energies concept...
