"Spore looks incredibly intriguing and it seems to make the highly complex dynamics of evolution seem highly intuitive, and even simple. Since the game procedurally calculates everything, you won't have to manually edit any of your creatures or buildings (though you can if you wish to), and you'll be able to watch your civilization grow from a single microbe."

"Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for new info about Spore. It's got an awesome premise that's already looking pretty well put together. It may not win any graphical achievements like some of the flashier strategy and shooter games out there, but it has more interesting features than we've seen in quite some time."

"Since Spore will be so vast when you factor in the user-created content, some players may be afraid to begin their civilization too late after the game is released sometime in 2007. It shouldn't be a factor in the final game since you're not directly competing with any other player online. Although the game does share user-created creatures and data with everyone else playing, it doesn't affect their games, so you can think of the process as a closed system that's constantly being updated with new content for you to explore while keeping you from actually ruining other player's sandboxes."
