"...Star Wars Super Bombad Racing should have been a more engrossing affair. Unlike most Lucas titles, this one doesn't even try to knit a story line around the gameplay."

"The fun starts with the characters themselves -- after you get a good laugh at their big-headed new look, you'll quickly notice that not only does each character have a different driving style but also exhibits their own personality. Darth Maul will be carrying his trademark double-edged sabre while Jar-Jar's big ears will flap in the wind as he screams through the levels. Each character is fully animated and look to the side as they approach other players. Each racer also has their own taunt which they yell at each other as they pass or get passed by an opponent. You can be sure that there will be plenty of lead changes with over 25 different gadgets and power-ups that the characters can pick up as they race through the tracks. Some are boosts, some are sheilds and most fun of all are the special items which perform uniquely to each racer. For instance, Jar-Jar has a special power-up which lets him extend his tongue to enormous lengths, grab hold of the racer in front of him and pull himself ahead while Sebulba will take his usual dirty-play approach by drenching a player in front of him with a splash of fire."
"Let's dig right into the features that you're all dying to know about. The first question on your minds probably is, "Just how big are those heads actually going to be? Will they compare to the other great cart racing games out there?" Well the answer to that is a resounding yes. These are some of the biggest heads to fit in a go-kart in the history of racing. And these aren't just any heads guys. There are eight characters from The Phantom Menace available to take control of: Anakin, Queen Amidala, Obi-Wan, Subulba, Boss Nass, Darth Maul, Yoda, and everyone's favorite clumsy idiot Jar-Jar Binks will be there to duke it out over nine different tracks."
