THE GOOD:1. New Neighborhood known as Downtown!
2. Bunchs of new Community lots, such as; Restaurants, Clubs, Art Gallerys, Parks, Pools, and Shops.
3. Vampires!

5. New Pleasure Aspiration!
6. Turn On's and Turn Off's
7. Sims can now go on Dates!
8. Blind Dates can be made by the Gypsy!
THE BAD:
1. No storyline just like with all the other games.
2. Vampires cant spawn children that will be vampires too.
3. Driveways can't curve
4. Takes WAY too long to travel from home to community lots.
5. Still can't kill another sim with you sim.
6. Teenagers still can't get pregnant.
7. Money is hard to make.
SUMMARY:
The Sims 2: Nightlife expansion pack adds so many new features that aren't only amazing but fantastic as well. Some of these new features include; the Downtown city, cars, vampires, pleasure aspiration, turn ons/offs, dates, and much, much more!
The game features a completely new neighbor called, Downtown. It has a total of 44 community and residential lots. These fun and entertaining lots all are different in some way, each ether being a type of; bar, club, park, art gallery, shop, pool, or hedge maze. With all of these community lots filling the streets of Downtown your sim is always going to have fun in some way or another, ether by; dancing in groups, going out on dates, going out for group gatherings, driving around town, shopping for new clothes, socializing with friends, eating at fancy restaurant's, taking over the DJ booth at a club, or doing many other fun activities.
Since Pleasure is the newest aspiration most sims in the city of Downtown have this as there aspiration. Pleasure sims basic callings of life are to just have fun, by doing something entertaining such as; dancing in a group, DJing, playing cards, driving around town, and going out on dates. These sims tend to be distracted from partying all night so they usually can't hold up a job for long. But it is the city and partying is it's main key, to fun.
Not only will you just have fun but you can experience along with vampires! Vampires are entirely new to the sims 2 games. They are extremely rare in there kind but if come into contact with, be prepared for getting a piece of there DNA after they decide and bite your sim passing on there inhumane traits. Vampires have amazing features that come along with them such as; being able to turn into a bat and fly, having no reflection in a mirror, and also being able to pass there traits onto another. The only downside to these sims is that they must be kept away from the sun and they are only seen outside at night. Usually a normal vampire will stay in it's coffin all day long and then wake up at night.
Sims now have the option of going out on dates with other sims. Sim relationships can now become started just by picking up the phone and inviting another sim out with your sim. They can ether pick that sim up and take it to a community lot or the sim could simply wait for a cab like it has in all the other sim games. Your sim hasn't lived the Downtown life without going on dates, so hurry up and find that special someone or they may just all be taken.
Another amazing and wonderful new feature added into the Sims 2 games from the Nightlife expansion pack is the use of cars. Sims can now buy and own cars, instead of having to call a taxi to take them places they can simply just drive themselves there. No longer will a sim ever have to wait for a taxi cab to come pick them up and take them to another lot, they can drive anywhere they choose as long as it's in the neighborhood or the city of Downtown. Sims can even experience a variety of different interactions inside there vehicles, such as; turning the lights on, kissing another sim, turning music on, dancing to the music coming from within the car, driving your children to school, and teenager sims can drive themselves and maybe there siblings to school.
So with the Sims 2: Nightlife expansion pack's many brand new features, sim's lives will be completely changed and revamped then they ever have been before. Sims will ether experience the feeling of vampire teeth sinking into there neck, "WooHoo"ing in a barely private Photo Booth, or driving along the open rode with the wind in there face, anyway they take on life they will always be having fun!
