Unreal II

THE GOOD:
+ great graphics
+ several good weapons
+ some very good scripted events, just like Unreal 1
+ the worlds are well designed
+ some really good use of the Unreal engine effects, much better than Unreal Tournament IMO

THE BAD:
- characters are bland
- your shipmates are essentially useless
- some levels are just too difficult
- No MULTIPLAYER?!?!

SUMMARY:
For those who loved Unreal 1 for its single player aspect, Unreal 2 will encompass some of the gameplay and action, but you don't get the same sense of being lost or alone as you did in Unreal.

Unreal 1 was a masterpiece for me because it combined excellent scripted elements and amazing environments to evoke a mysterious and awe inspiring adventure. You're as much exploring and fighting for a way to escape as you are just killing thiungs. Unreal II doesn't give you this impression, which is its biggest drawback: you don't get the same FEELING.
