X2: The Threat

THE BAD:
super low frame rate (unplayable) clumsy interface cartoonish look

SUMMARY:
I was waiting for this game for a long time now (i'm a space/economic sim fan. When i check the minimal configuration it says : Recommended Microsoft® Windows® 2000/XP Pentium® III 1300Mhz or equal 256MB RAM 64MB DirectX 8 compatible 3D graphics card Soundcard (Surround sound support recommended) 1000MB free disk space 32x CD-ROM Mouse + Keyboard or Joystick (Optional support for force-feedback) I have amd athlon 2100+ 512 MB memory and an old but ok Geforce2 Ti 64mb ddr And i can not even watch the cinematics, even when just one character is rendered on the screen, it's about 4 fps (and why the heck the damn screen keeps bobing around ?!) !! Why did they lie about recommended configuration ?(i wont even talk about minimal configuration) Besides that dialogues are naives, interface is very badly designed (no configuration for keyboard, joystick, mouse, nothing) Game looks amateurish and not finished, too bad it looked promising, on the paper...
