SUMMARY:
Deux Ex (no not Do Sex) is a very original game in that you can literally go anyway you want. If you see a locked door then there is always another way in for example you could go around back looking for a back door or a window, you could find a ladder and enter through the roof or find a ventilation shaft or even just pick the lock of the door if you have that skill upgraded.
You see you start of average in every aspect but throughout the game you find augmentations which you can apply to many skills such as aiming, lock pick skill, weapon skill, sneaking and many others which gives this game something that other FPS games don't have...replay value. Due to the different ways through the game and different endings you can play it 10 times and the game will seem like a different game each time.
The bad thing though is the graphics, they are almost like...

THE BAD:
Horrible graphics! Sometimes you get lost! Damm LoaDINGS!!

SUMMARY:
This game is not for everyone. If you just want to kill mobs, avoid this game as if it was the plague! But, if you like action games that are more than just kill, get this! The most interesting part of the game is many possibilities of achieving your objectives, for an example, you need to enter someplace, you can do the from front, you can circle and enter from behind, or you can climb some crates and land to the 2nd floor, you can find a ladder to sewers and go swiming... And how to do that? You can do the way you want to! You can enter metal-gear solid style, hiding behind the crates, walking silently, and killing quickly, hiding bodies... Or you can enter rambo-style, throwing grenades and killing everybody! Or you can find a spot and kill´em fro afar......

THE GOOD:
Nearly everything about the game especially chosing your own way to do different missions e.g. all the different endings etc; exciting gameplay and missions

THE BAD:
Hardly anything, the graphics are outdated now and the controls can be annoying at first and the occasional glitch can be quite stupid. Like all games it can get boring but this game started to get boring after i finished it for about the twentieth time ( i got my moneys worth)

SUMMARY:
I believe it is one of the best games ever made.
Exellent, interesting gameplay, good graphics for its time, training yourself, collecting augs, being able to sort of make your own story sorta thing with all the different things you can say and do to people.

Some games are to short and easy and do not have alternate endings like MGS2 whereas Deus Ex is long and can be difficult and has a few alternate endings.

SUMMARY:
This was a paratic buy on my part. Usually i go for the really pretty games but this time i found out it is what is in the inside that counts.

I will admit it everything in this game looks like a slighty beefed up playstation one game. The trees look weird, people talk like robots (even the non bot ones) and their are random things like blank boxes all around.

If you get beyond this you will find that this is an excellent game for two very solid reasons.

1. As you progress you get to augment yourself to be better in at certain things like shooting a sniper rifle or picking locks. This keeps you hooked.

2. The branching pathways that let you chopse to be the stealth james bond the genius tactitian or the Schwarzeneger like commando.

Please get beyond the suface for this gem of a game for people who don't get computer games.
