THE GOOD:
first and foremost, unless you have your daily dose of megamania, pitfall, and river raid, you will not beat your friends at even older games.. like D&D and... yeh... thats a step too far.. GREAT GAMES!

THE BAD:
the only real bad thing is you cant get any of the patches anymore, i actually have a few and their collecting value as i speak

SUMMARY:
this game includes a marketing commercial by activision explaining their growth in 1981.. anything that starts off saying "1981 was a year of explosive growth for the video game industry" is solid,

there are well over 40 reasons to get this game, the top five are these

1.pitfall
2.pitfall
3.megamania
4.pitfall
5.it beats the crud out of going to an arcade and blowing $20 on maybe an hour of gaming
(DAMN YOU TIME CRISIS 2)

all in all buy this game, you can find it in discount bins for around 8 bucks

THE GOOD:
The games, baby! The games!

THE BAD:
What are you, nuts?

SUMMARY:
How do I describe this thing of retro gaming greatness? One word: perfection. For you see, it is not a matter of graphics or complexity; it's about how fun it is to play the game. In this case, however, it's no less than 48 games all packed along with tons of stuff to unlock, a cool 80's soundtrack, and COMMERCIALS. I mean seriously, you get to see the stuff that your parents saw. Or stuff you saw, for that matter. There's the regular classic games, such as Spider Fighter and Pitfall! and also games never before on a compilation before, like Decathlon and Robot Tank(which rocks). And even a couple never before released including a fun little game called Kabobber and an interesting prototype only 80 percent complete called Thwocker. What more could you possibly ask for with this? Let me count them. 1: unlockable stuff like those patches you could get, commercials, and even different ways to play the games. 2:MUSIC straight from the 80's to play while the games are going, but in the case of Pitfall II, that's not necessary. 3: I don't know what else, but Activision really did well with this. I may not be old enough to remember these games, but I do know what I like, and this is what I like. I'm also smart. Twenty phlangelical appendages way, way up! This is 4-bit gaming at its best, baby.

THE GOOD:
Old school gaming at it's best as it says on the back.

THE BAD:
Grapics(what can expect from game older than you for most of us).

SUMMARY:
This is just a bunce of really old 80's games. Of corse they are all by Activision. There are some never before released games, and some really messed up never before released games. Plane and simple this is more of a game you shaould play with your freinds or if your just plain bored. I am not responsible for people becomming even more bored.
