Armored Core 2: Another Age

THE GOOD:
New parts, new missions

THE BAD:
No new arena, still lags when there is too much going on, Missions are repetative and sometime boring

SUMMARY:
The expansion pack on AC2, this game really does just expand on the old formula. I was really upset that there is no new arena, as it is arguably the best aspect of the series. A ton of new parts are here, and they give you even more options. The customization here is incredible. The missions have various tasks, some boring, but there are many new and innovative levels. I especially liked jumping from plane to plane in midair. If you liked the second, pick this up. But I will recommend you play AC2 first, as it has more to offer.

THE GOOD:

theres one thing that would make it way better in any and every way. This game is one of the best so far for PS2 better than all the new games i.e GTA Vilce City, Burn Out, fifa 2002.... Extremly good multi player levels.

Simply a must have.

THE GOOD:
To me this game is the most advanced mech game around. It meets perfection in the sights to the sequal of Armored Core 2.

THE BAD:
Even if you have the fast speed turner, it is still slow to turn.

what's not to love. thousands of great part combonations, lots of missions, and an all new VS Mission option to see who is the better raven out of your friends. all in all a perfect game.

THE BAD:
the only thing bad is no arena and mail system. but not having on arena was made up for with the new VS option.

i decided to put a review on here because to many wimps were leaving reviews (like "Bush Sucks"). that player complained saying the game was to hard for him. why would someone want a game that is to easy to beat. that takes all the fun out of it. it wasn't to hard for me. I made three cores that can stay in the air as long as i want. that's right, infinite flight time. all you people out there complaining should review your AC and make it better suited for combat rather than complain that "it's to hard.." you *bleep*ing pussies. i had lots of fun with this game. i do wish some parts from three were in AC2AA, but that...

THE GOOD:
The same excellent Armored Core setup in this installment. Some people complain about this fact, but the reason it is never really changed is because it is so awesome to begin with.

The framerate has been improved over AC2, meaning that you'll never experience slowdown, even in the most intense barrages of fire. The graphics engine is much the same, but some minor upgrades have been implemented.

The sound is the same as always, which is good but not great.

THE BAD:
This game lacks a proper storyline, unfortunately. I figured if they were going to take out the arena they should at least put some kind of plot into the missions, but it was not to be.

Again, the removal of the Arena was a serious blow to this game. And even though there are 100 missions the game does not take long to complete. Most missions take no more than 5 minutes. And they start to get very repetitive after a while.

this is a good game in the way of being able to costumize your raven in every way.

the bad is this is a pretty short game I completed it in 2 weeks

SUMMARY:
I need to confese this game is fit to be a hall of famer in my hall. That is how good this game is despite being short it will keep you coming back for more. It has weapons and other parts thats you need to find to have your perfect raven. Oh yeah the extra zones even though there is only one zone it is the toughest zone in the entire game. Even though there is some bad it is not enough to over shadow the core goodness.

THE GOOD:
ac2 brings nearly all the greatness of the armored core series to a prettier package, and another age just raised it to another level. The game has several unique and interesting missions, many with enough challenge to keep you playing. The learning curve in this game is not as steep as the other armored core games, so newbies will be less pissed if they buy this. The high difficulty missions are really quite difficult. One mission requires that you defeat three difficult enemies at once. The gameplay is, as with all the armored core games, tremendously fast.

THE BAD:
This game would benefit from some arena play and more parts, but there are already many parts and some arena style missions. The lack on an actual arena as in ac2 does however give the game a sort of lack compared to its predecessor. Some of the new parts stink, though some are good. None of the new parts are really outstandingly useful in either a strategic or wild fight....

THE GOOD:
The graphics improved just a tiny bit, they added the shining effect in this game. Also there is not much lagging no more, and the missions rock!

THE BAD:
Could've had arena and mail, but, who cares? The missions is more than enough to impress a new comer to this game or especially a die hard fan.

SUMMARY:
Yep... This rocks the house!

THE GOOD:
Well, this game is really long (unless your like me and sit down for hours at a time) 100 missions... wow thats a lot. Lots of customization. Just plain old fun for people who like this sort of thing. Nice graphics. Easy to learn. And lots of other good stuff but im too tired to think of them right now!

THE BAD:
Only bad thing about this is that they took out the Mail and the Arena functions

SUMMARY:
People who say this game sucks because its hard, just suck because this is one of the first PS2 games ive played and I beat it without much of a problem. I sat down and couldnt stop playing at times. This game is SOOOOOOO fun and addicting its like perfect!!! I still cant stop playing it! If you like lots of customization of giant fighting robots, this game is the best out in my opinion. Its either this or the regular Armored Core 2. But either way you get your moneys worth.
