Armored Core 2: Another Age

THE BAD:
nothing in the game is wrong that i could see

theres one thing that would make it way better in any and every way. If they made it 4 players it would be cool u could play on teams and free for all or 3 on 1 or shit like that.BY THE WAY IS THERE ANY WA YU ALL COULD SEND THIS IDEA TO THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE GAME OR SEND ME THERE E-MAIL...............THAX

BAD... YOU MUST BE CRAZY BEST GAME EVER

SUMMARY:
This game is one of the best so far for PS2 better than all the new games i.e GTA Vilce City, Burn Out, fifa 2002.... Extremly good multi player levels.

Simply a must have.

THE BAD:
Even if you have the fast speed turner, it is still slow to turn.

SUMMARY:
To me this game is the most advanced mech game around. It meets perfection in the sights to the sequal of Armored Core 2. Even if you have the fast speed turner, it is still slow to turn.

THE BAD:
the only thing bad is no arena and mail system. but not having on arena was made up for with the new VS option.

SUMMARY:
i decided to put a review on here because to many wimps were leaving reviews (like "Bush Sucks"). that player complained saying the game was to hard for him. why would someone want a game that is to easy to beat. that takes all the fun out of it. it wasn't to hard for me. I made three cores that can stay in the air as long as i want. that's right, infinite flight time. all you people out there complaining should review your AC and make it better suited for combat rather than complain that "it's to hard.." you *bleep*ing pussies. i had lots of fun with this game. i do wish some parts from three were in AC2AA, but that would make it reaaly chaotic. i would have TOO MUCH fun. this is a excellent game. if you know what your doing, that is. think before you make your core, and the game won't prove to be that hard if you can pilot your core the right way. so practice in the VS missions. overall, this is an exceelent game, so don't let all those people that are never happen discourage you from getting it. have a great time playing it.

THE BAD:
This game lacks a proper storyline, unfortunately. I figured if they were going to take out the arena they should at least put some kind of plot into the missions, but it was not to be.

Again, the removal of the Arena was a serious blow to this game. And even though there are 100 missions the game does not take long to complete. Most missions take no more than 5 minutes. And they start to get very repetitive after a while.

SUMMARY:
Despite all of this AC2AA is still an excellent game. It's one of those titles that never quite gets boring. This is largely due to the near infinate customization options you are given for your AC. You can build your robot mech just the way you want it. As such, not two games are ever the same, since going through the missions in a different AC can pose entirely new challenges.

The missions do get somewhat repetitive after a while. This is due to the fact that AC2AA always seems to use small areas for their missions. It makes it more difficult to put extra sidegoals in there.

In the end this is an excellent game and it is well worth your time. I look forward to Armored Core 3.

THE BAD:
the bad is this is a pretty short game I completed it in 2 weeks

SUMMARY:
I need to confese this game is fit to be a hall of famer in my hall. That is how good this game is despite being short it will keep you coming back for more. It has weapons and other parts thats you need to find to have your perfect raven. Oh yeah the extra zones even though there is only one zone it is the toughest zone in the entire game. Even though there is some bad it is not enough to over shadow the core goodness.

THE BAD:
This game would benefit from some arena play and more parts, but there are already many parts and some arena style missions. The lack on an actual arena as in ac2 does however give the game a sort of lack compared to its predecessor. Some of the new parts stink, though some are good. None of the new parts are really outstandingly useful in either a strategic or wild fight. The new sword, while innovative, has a range so short that you ought to just get the moonlight.

SUMMARY:
The armored core series is a series that some people like, and some people dislike. The physically realistic and challenging movement style detracts many gamers from a great series. I was first attracted to the series because I had enjoyed cartoons like Gundam and Robotech, and had watched Transformers often as a child. The "huge robot" concept came naturally to me, as well as the energy sword idea.

Many have said that the armored core series should have analogue control, but I disagree. The game would not be able to run as nicely and the playing would be more difficult if analogue control were used. The joysticks just take too long to change directions, so that could be the difference between getting hit or not.

THE BAD:
Could've had arena and mail, but, who cares? The missions is more than enough to impress a new comer to this game or especially a die hard fan.

Yep... This rocks the house!

People who say this game sucks because its hard, just suck because this is one of the first PS2 games ive played and I beat it without much of a problem. I sat down and couldnt stop playing at times. This game is SOOOOOOO fun and addicting its like perfect!!! I still cant stop playing it! If you like lots of customization of giant fighting robots, this game is the best out in my opinion. Its either this or the regular Armored Core 2. But either way you get your moneys worth.
