Background

The game series that started the original rhythm and music gaming fad returns with the latest installment: Beatmania IIDX 8th Style. Based on the arcade hit, the game serves up reflex-based DJ challenges using a specialized turn table controller. Notes appear at the top of the screen and scroll down -- when they arrive at the bottom, hit the right button to complete the song

Gameplay

Beatmania IIDX 8th Style: Special Edition ships in a special commemorative box, with an additional Beatmania IIDX V soundtrack CD, a Beatmania IIDX: Visual Emotion DVD and a special pamphlet. To come up for the playlist in Beatmania II DX 8th Style, Konami polled players of the franchise as to which songs they would like to see in the game the most. Also features new songs from LED, Sana, and others.
