Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter

THE GOOD:
The story plot seems so different from the other Breath of Fires I've ever seen. The originality is definitely there. Such a creative twist from your everyday hero living on the upper land doing mystical quests, this one really caught my eye all together.

The characters, Ryu, Nina and Lin. Incredibly made characters and I'll tell you why.

Ryu - Incredible sword techniques that are give and found for him along with great dragon powers, but be careful not to over do it.

Nina - A frail looking girl but very powerful with magic.

Lin - Some of the best guns skills I've seen. Can be proven to be very powerful.

Along with being able to equip skills to their shield which turns out quite useful when fighting the baddies.

Very graphic and detail battles when fighting that just scream greatness in it.

Incredible soundtrack that I loved so damn much that I couldn't get enough of it.

Enemies - their designs were creative, brutal and even some cute, they have placed old traditional enemies in there along with new and improved ones too.

Gameplay - Well, I'd have to say it's definitely worth it. You could be playing for hours and hours. Continue playing over the game and you'll understand more of what it's about.

Levels as you go along/settings - Amazing, some of the settings and places that you were in were magnificent, brilliant detail, constantly changing the ideas of settings.

Side quest - Your own small side quests including the lovable fairies, but I won't give that away for you.

THE BAD:
Only being able to have three characters with you. Usually in most Breath of Fires you get a bigger choice, but I didn't mind the fact that you had to have three that much really.

As much as it was quite serious, not many mystical creatures you often see in the others either, but the enemies in this definately are right for this game.

Too many levels - As much as I loved the many levels you went to, there were so many, I always thought I'd be somewhere near the top by now, but nope, it kept on coming.

Secrets - secret things that could only be revealed by playing the game over. Quite frustrating at times.

SUMMARY:
All in all, this game has a lot to offer. It's very challenging, very original and so very creative for a breath of fire game. My opinion, buy it and play it.
