THE GOOD:
Interesting characters, a diversity of activities, entertaining locations, changing seasons, customizable outfits.

THE BAD:
Actual game too short, missions slightly repetitive.

SUMMARY:
If you were ever teased and humiliated in grade school or high school, then this is the perfect revenge game for you!
Each click is represented, the geeks, the jocks, the preps, the greasers and the all-around bullies.
I personally started out the game protecting the geeks and beating up everyone else, but in time you can actually befriend everybody, then pick and choose who you want to push around.

Now, for the game observations;

The characters in this game have CHARACTER, they're well thought-out with their own unique personalities and ways of interacting.
I also thought it was very cool of Rockstar to incorporate the fact that there's at least one gay character in each school click, so if mackin' on the girls isn't quite your style, there are five different guys you can set your sights on!

There's a pleasing diversity of activities beyond the actual game missions; class mini-games, secret weapons, unlocking outfits, racing and boxing challenges, and a fairground where you can do everything from playing games, riding rides, and even checking out a freak show.

The fairground is also just one of a few different locations that might have you saying, "oh, cool".
They have a graveyard, a beach, an old folks' home, a park, and even an insane asylum.

You can get around town by walking, skateboarding, biking, and my personal favorite, on a moped.
There are also side missions where you can ride a lawnmower for cash, or go-carts for fairground tickets.

The changing of seasons is pretty fun as well, you get to see everyone in different costumes for Halloween, and start snowball fights during Christmas.

There's a good variety of customizable clothing to be found, and whatever outfit you're wearing is incorporated into the cutscenes, which makes for good story continuity, because you're not suddenly in your original outfit and back again whenever anything happens.
Personally, I tend to pick outfits from the greaser/punk side of town, topping it off with a green spikey hairstyle.

The only real downside to this game is that if you stick straight to the actual storyline, it's a bit on the short side, it left me kind of hoping for more chapters.

And yes, though others might call this a lesser version of Grand Theft Auto, the spirit of it all will have you forgetting any similarities as you play on through.
