THE GOOD:
well first off the game is one of the fastest beat em ups ever secondly the game had over 40 characters and thirdly it kicks ass but this is not what makes the game so good its the fact that it has a brillaint 2d animation combined with a 3d background with this effect the game looks brillaint even on next gen consoles

THE BAD:
it is a hard game for newbies of the capcom vs snk games. if you are a newbie to this type of fighting game it is very hard to do the SUPER COMBOS as people who are used to the street fighter games will be able to pull them off with ease

SUMMARY:
i got this game for £20 which is a definent bargain the game has lots of features and u can make your favourite character look like spiderman the hulk god etc etc

The game is one of the best beat em ups on any console and if you do get the game cheap you are getting value for your money

THE GOOD:
the selection of chars tha first time you play blows your mind!

THE BAD:
a few fan favs didnt make the cut.the anouncer...

SUMMARY:
well this is fighting game goodness.capcom vs. snk once again show that 2d fighters are long from dead.you get some of the capcom big hiters(chun li,ryu) and snks classic fighters(rock howard,mai,ect...).hardcore snk fans should be happy with the differant styles, and alpha fans should be glad that the custom combo system is in the game(its just very cool to use a char slow char and do a 17 hit combo)

the backgrounds look great!but can sometime distract you.theres only a few bad things in this game.only a few secrets.i was lookin forward to somthing fun after playing for so long(like a extra mode that lets you play poket fighter,or puzzle fighter)the anouncer...

...um what were they thinking? was this ment as a joke?at first i was like " lol this dude is funny" but after a...

THE GOOD:
well let's see.... There are many many characters. And this time there aren't many unpopular ones. Now there are those long awaited characters like Yun or Eagle. And on top of that, there are many grooves to choose from. So you can customize your battling. A very good party game and a good single player game also.

THE BAD:
some character sprites look completely horrible. Especially Morrigan. UGH!!

SUMMARY:
This game is mainly for the 2-d fans. Other people will just see this as another low-rate fighting game. Which is completely untrue!! If you want to try it out, at least give it a rent. It surely deserves it. And even if you're unfamilliar with, SNK, you don't have to use them. You can always go for the classics like Ken or Akuma or Guile, hell, you can even learn to use the SNK characters. Just don't run into me at the arcades....

THE GOOD:
44+ Characters,playable Shin Akuma! 6 grooves,colour edit mode,replay mode, beautiful 3d backgroundz!

THE BAD:
Pixelated Sprites...(but you'll be having soo much fun that you wouldn't even notice them!)

SUMMARY:
This game surpasses itz predecessor in every way and it has to be the bes 2d fighting game ever!
Because of its depth the player has to use more strategic ways of attacking an opponent and this is not for a button basher. Because it is 2d, the action is quick and furious, unlike the slow beat-em-ups that are being released nowadayz (e.g. Tekken)
Everything is neatly presented and the menu's are nice and colourful. The control system is very responsive although it is quite difficult with the Dual Shock 2. The sound is decent and it doesn't distract you from the heat of the battle. The friendly people at Capcom also included a colour edit mode, in which you can tweak your favourite characters to the colours of your...

THE GOOD:
Lots of characters, great fighting, good replay value with friends, and an overall good fighting game.

THE BAD:
Gameplay lacked in some parts. Plus it was not addicting.

SUMMARY:
Now this is a good game. I borrowed it from my friend one day I enjoyed it very much. There are so many characters to choose from and many combination teams to use. Also I like setting the mode to your style (me Capcom). This is a very good game but gets boring after a while. Still a great game to buy or rent.

THE GOOD:
Lost of charecters to choose from, a lot of modes!

THE BAD:
Some of the graphics are a bit old school. Nothing real bad.

SUMMARY:
This game is my most favorite Fighting Game since the Street Fighter 2 Series for Super Nintendo, lots of modes, good gameplay, and lots of charecters and different fighting styles! I love this game. If your looking for a fighting game or a great multiplayer game to play with your friends, SNK vs. Capcom 2 is the game for you!

THE GOOD:
What would happen if Ryu went head on against Iori? Or M.Bison Vs Geese ?? instead of me telling you, why dont u find out? Because now 2 Great Companies, CAPCOM and SNK have come together and created the Ultimate 2D fighting Game and Placed it in the Hands Of the PS2, so, now you can enjoy Kyo kickin the crap outta Blanka with Sharper Sound, Better Graphics, and a Whole load of different Places to fight in!

THE BAD:
The Bad ? ? what do you "the Bad" ?? How can you Go wrong with 44 different characters to choose from! each with its own unique design! and 6 different Grooves + 2 grooves u can edit yourself!!! PLUS!! 2 super powered secret characters you can win ( not saying who tho) There is No Bad!!!

SUMMARY:
i think if you have read what i wrote up above then you'll know this game is a BIG Hit!!!
if your a fighting fan then this game needs to be in your collection!!!!

You may think that because its in 2D,...

THE GOOD:
This Old School 2D fighter will have you glued to your Televison for hours on end, practicing complex super combos and fighting to see each player's ending, or just romping on your friends in the superb 2-player mode.

THE BAD:
Some sprites (like Morrigan's, whose character sprtie was shamelessly ripped straight from Dalkstalkers) will have you crying over Capcom's fading integrity, and character endings, which are merely two-or-three sentence text-only epitaphs, will leave you with a rather dissapointing "That's it?" mentality.

SUMMARY:
In the style of Street Fighter, Rival Schools, King of Fighters, and many other fondly remembered 2D fighting games, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millenium 2001 brings you endless button combos to memorize, with over 44 characters to try out all your well-learned attacks on, all catered to perfectly by the well-planned Groove system. Not to mention, of course, the mandatory Friend-bashing mode....

THE GOOD:
Everything! Love this game.

THE BAD:
None that I can think of.

SUMMARY:
This game is awesome! When I actually get god enough at it, I will be hittin the tournaments. Can't wait.
The perfect team is Ken, Terry Bogard, and Ryu on A-Groove. Can't get better. The music rocks too. NIN kept me bouncin in my seat as I was practicing my combos. Two thumbs way, way up!!
