THE GOOD:Good graphics.
Lots of cars.
Tons of tracks.
Nice gizmos.
THE BAD:
Squished cars?
Why not use real dimensions?
That would help the control.
Cheap way at extending the longetivity of the title.
Music feels out of place.
NO TIME TRIAL??!!
Just doesn't make any sense.
SUMMARY:
This game is good graphic wise. The cars have a vibrant paint job and the tracks are worth seeing. You have lots of tracks to choose from, and the car selection just seems to never end. Also, you can use gizmos such as a glider and a pair of skis to perform well on the tracks. But after that, the game goes downhill. The first thing you will notice are the squished cars. HUH?? Smooshed cars? WHY??? Who thought of that "concept"? The control is just not correct. If you hold the control stick in a direction too long, the car will lose control and your race will be lost. To do well in the game, you have to accumulate cash by winning races in your custom dinky car. After about the second race, the AI will be much more upgraded and you will have to race the country straightaway and asphalt oval multiple times to stay on top. They might have done this to increase the longetivity of the game, but in reality, it adds up to repetitive gameplay. Also, there is no Time Attack, which is a big racing boo-boo. The music seems more like boss and RPG tunes than racing melodies. The game just makes absolutly no sense, and just does not work well.
