General/Summary: A great game! A true stand out in the crowded genre of extreme sports. Fans of Tony Hawk games may not like this one as much as their precious game that never innovates since the first. The levels in Aggressive Inline are great, large, and filled with things to do. The game actually forces you to explore each and every bit of a level, looking for unlockables such as juice boxes (getting all of them opens up secret cheats), extra stat bonus ups (one per level), secret special trick icons (one per level), and keys to other levels that practically double the size (one per level again)! Die hard fans of tony hawk will find more emphasis on completing missions and level interactivity (though NPCs and such) than just tricks. There are not as many tricks in AI than in Tony Hawk games, but believe me, there are PLENTY.
Gameplay: First of all, controls are top notch. Pretty much the same as Tony Hawk if you're used to it except that X handles ALL your tricks and B is used for Pole Swings, Vaults, Skitching and interacting with NPCs. This game is the first in the Tony Hawk clones to have a real learning curve for me and actually give a challenge. (I breezed through THPS3 in no time) This game has 25-60ish objectives per level! Some ranging from easy to VERY HARD (some will take you an hour or two just to figure out how, and then another hour or two to actually do it!). Veterans will get some challenge from this game as opposed to THPS3, but newbies won't have to worry, as the easy challenges are more than enough to unlock other levels.

Graphics: Xbox version has very clean graphics, hardly no slow down whatsoever in frame rate and beautifully designed levels with vibrant colors and everything to trick off of! Go Nuts!

Sound: Sound effects are good, but nothing to write home about. The soundtrack leaves a little to be desired mainly because I prefer Rap to the alternative/metal on this (which aren't bad for the most part). Luckily the xbox version has the custom soundtrack option so I can groove to DMX or Jay Z while skating!

THE GOOD:
the detail in all of the different levels and how big they are and of course the secret areas you have to unlock

THE BAD:
dont get to make your own skater

SUMMARY:
the game is really good. i like the way that the levels are very detailed and are very big. you dont have a time limit either when you play in career. the game gives you lots of challenges to do and they dont make it to easy to complete them. overall it is a very interesting game and it is very addictive.

THE GOOD:
The RPG like leveling up
Length of game

THE BAD:
Some goals are too difficult

SUMMARY:
It takes a very long time to finish this game with 100%. Many people will stop playing this game well before completing it. However, the game is really fun. I like the way how this game works. Instead of getting stat points, you have to earn your stats by getting expirence points by continually doing the same type of tricks. If you're mainly street, your street skills will increase. If you're mainly vert, your vert skills will increase. You also have to find your secret moves in the level. You can play the level as long as you want so long as your special meter doesn't empty. You can also get upgrades that will make your special meter larger.

Bottom Line:
If you like the Tony Hawk series, try this one out.

This game has some wicked tricks, levels, and thats coming from a skateboarder. The levels are massive. The only things this game needs is Create-a-Blader and gaplists. The boob-o-rama is spectacular. The only other complaint I have is that the wallrides are difficult, but you get experince for this anyway. I think Acclaim should make another Aggressive Inline. Keep up the good work.

This game is extremely good. It has solid graphics and a park editor that puts Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3's park editor to shame! It also has a spectacular soundtrack with hits from P.O.D, Hoobastank, Sublime, and Reel Big Fish. What separates the game from other skating games is its rpg type career mode. You gain experience and level up by doing the respective stunt (ex: vert tricks increase jump). That's not the only reason why it's like an RPG. It's so long and difficult! It's unbelievably hard to pull off some of the goals. The only complaint I have is that there is no create-a-skater.

-The Last Word: It is most definitely worth your money. Buy it.
