THE GOOD:Gameplay is rather smooth, Music is great, Plot and characters are unique, very imaginative, better done than the other Clock Tower games.
THE BAD:
I seriously think that your head would be smashed in, rather than bloody if you got nailed in the face with a sledgehammer, Enemies pop up way too often, Ghosts grow aggrivating, Alyssa should be able to run faster, Panic meter goes up too fast, Two words: CAMERA ANGLES.
SUMMARY:
Clock Tower three, I must say is the best in its series. However, there are a few drawbacks to its enhanced graphics and imaginative plot. Such as the Camera angles change so suddenly, you might just turn around and run into the Subordinate you're trying to avoid! ( this has happened to me more than once. ) The bosses are challenging the first time you fight them, which is actually nice to have. I don't advise you play this game in the dark, at night, or alone. My friend did so ( all three ) and thinks Corroder lives in his basement. ( IMMA KILL YOU WITH A SHOWER HEAD O______< ) I also like the concept of using just holy water, rather a gun. So there's no ' BOOM HEADSHOT. Okay boss is dead ' garbage.
But all in all, the game is good. The characters, cut scenes, backgrounds and music thrown together create a disturbing and freaky atmosphere. Myself and my friends have screamed when caught off guard when a subordinate pops out, which is a nice scare every here and there, but it gets really annoying with Chopper jumping out of nowhere CONSTANTLY.
One time I recall while playing Clock Tower Three was once, during the Corroder stage, I had left him on the other side of the level, inside the house. So I went to the backyard, and he popped out of the other building! Me and my friend Simon screamed, due to the fact we were so calm at the time!
So, if you're a fan of using your mind, rather a gun, and getting a good scare out of a game, I'd highly recommend Clock Tower 3.
