THE GOOD:Weapon & inventory variety, smooth gameplay, entertaining music & sound scores.
THE BAD:
Repetitive missions.
SUMMARY:
Dark Angel's actually not that bad a title if you look at it from a different perspective. Its only real drawback is the lack of a detailed storyline and its decidedly repetitive "hack and slash to level up" theme. However, if you only need a quiet afternoon to keep yourself busy with brainless monster slaying, then this title can actually be useful for killing an hour or two.
Some of its better features include a gigantic array of weapons, guns, bombs, healing items and rare objects. Other collectable items are used to increase the strength, health and overall economy of the towns you're protecting.
During battle, the character's movements are smooth, and there's very little lagging, glitching, or getting hung up on obstacles.
Surprisingly enough, the music isn't as monotonous and the gameplay can be at times, and actually helps to maintain the mood somewhat.
All in all, this game isn't a complete waste of time, but rather, a useful tool TO waste time with (if that makes any sense).
