Well, if you have been wondering what I have been doing over the many weeks, I can sum it up into 3 letters.
DDR
( This review is for DDRMAX2, not DDRMAX 7th mix. This also contains song spoilers.)
When I first played DDR Ultramix for Xbox using a Naki Dance Mat, I was astounded about what I was missing. After completing that, I went to new limits and bought a PS2 Naki Dance Mat, DDRMAX, and DDRMAX2. I also played DDR Extreme in the arcade for good measure. I virtually know every song in these three games and their histories. DDR is a game played on a dance mat. Arrows are placed on cardinal directions on the mat (North, South, East, West). As the song of your choice plays, you step on the arrows as the onscreen ones reach the top. You can select from 4 difficulties, and 65+ songs!!!! These will suit almost everyone's taste. What a slow song? Try the classic Secret Rendevouz. Want a daring challenge? Well, take a shot at Maxx Unlimited. It also contains various techno, trance, and house songs. And my favorites are I Feel, Twilight Zone, and the last song you unlock. But, no song selection is perfect, and some problems lie in DDRMAX2. These are my SLIGHT complaints. DDRMAX2 has NO Candy remixes, a very mediocre remix of Trip Machine, only one PARANOiA remix, and a very bad song called Dream a Dream. I also wish A (by DJ Amouro) was included in here, as it was my favorite song in the arcade. But you still have to admit that DDRMAX2 is the best DDR version out there, and should bring lots of amazement to you.
