THE GOOD: -Nice clean graphics -Pretty good storyline -humorous at times -Evil King Stan -Battle system is okayTHE BAD: -The problem with this game is it take so frickin long to complete one battle! -It starts out good but it falls apart in the end -When the main character dies its game over. SUMMARY: Everything is okay about this game. To play this game you must have a lot of patience to settle with the battles. Its funner just to watch someone else play this game. My sister doesn't like the battles cause' they are so long. But my problem with the game is that whenever the main character dies you die. And they made it hard by making all the enemies attack him. not to mention he has the lowest HP. But there are a lot of people who like this game. Get it used. If you like it, its cheap. If you don't you can always scam em and say it didn't work O-('.'Q) |

THE GOOD: It has a great storyline, it's a really funny game, and the best of all, it's the most unique RPG I've EVER played. Including FFX.THE BAD: I was stuck in the Escapeless Abyss for nine months. The truth is, I'm just a bad gamer. There is nothing else wrong with it, except for the long, grueling dungeons. And the fact that you can't get Nuts (healing items) for a while into it. SUMMARY: It still kicks ass and is the best game that I've ever played. It's about a boy named Ari (or whatever you decide to name him) and the quest he is dragged into by his father forcing him to save his sister from the dreadful PIGLATIN CURSE! =O! And it's all because the poor mother doesn't want a comic relief daughter! Her daughter must be a pretty princess! XP To reveal more, you must play. Go. Buy. Now. I dare you. You'll be getting yourself a present better than anything you could hope for. Honestly. I also adore the fact that things that you may have no use for and things that you find out in the beginning come in *extremely* useful in the end... |

THE GOOD: This Game Has A Great Storyline.THE BAD: This Game Is Entertaining, but not very good graphics. SUMMARY: This game is great. The detailed storyline quickly sweeps away players. Although it does not contain great graphics, the characters are very humerous throughout the game. Okage involves Final Fantasy like battles and numerous characters, so players find themselves comparing this game to some of the very great games made by Squaresoft (now Square-Enix). |

THE GOOD: Overall this game has great game play, great characters, and most importantly an amazing plot. The graphics in my opion were beautful. It's not usually the style used, but for this game it fit perfectly. THE BAD: The game is quite changllening and sometimes you're characters can get stuck in walls or something like that. And there aren't voice overs, which kind of sucks and sometimes the battles can get repetitive. SUMMARY: To start off with I'm going to say that this game isn't for people who give up easily. If one of those said person's buy it, it will collect dust after the first play.
This game lives up to the Stragtey game title. It has a riddling and surprising game play. It also has humor. With a twisted bunch of characters, or 'team mates', this game is defeintly excting. The music in this game is amazing, maybe a little too cute for some, but still a great soundtrack.
There are some faults in this game though. First of all the battle's can be reptitive and sometimes a little boring. Anothing fault is that you can get stuck easily. Like between walls or your camera angle is stuck it's a pain the but to fix. Usually you have to restart the game. And the ghosts, it's like they come out of nowhere and attack you. Thankfull you can escape though.
So if you give up easily or just don't like the thought of a talking shadow, I wouldn't suggest buying this game. But if you're interested in an RPG that can make you laugh, but one that's tough enough for hard core RPG players, I would recommened it to you.
All in all, I think this game is worth the buy. ^__^ |

THE GOOD: - For once someone used a different plot
- I actually get mad at myself for dying
- Evil King Stan -- that says it allTHE BAD: - Needs to be longer
- Many people probably just won't get it SUMMARY: You to should play it. Why? Well, in most RPGs, you can guess what the next line is. Stan says things that you can honestly laugh at and sometimes may not want children or parents to read. Anything out of the ordinary catches my eye. My boyfriend said I probably wouldn't like it... so I bought it. And now he's eating his words. He loves it too. You can really tell the guys who thought6 this one up were tired of the typical crap. I fell in love with this game and with Stan. Yeah, who couldn't love an evil and possibly retarded King named Stan? And that as they say is that. |

THE GOOD: Almost everything..... but the best is... 1 Originality.... great tim burton-y art, very strange, unorthodox, love it. 2 character development.... I really feel like I KNOW them.... 3 plot development genius, pure *bleep*in genius. 4 EVIL KING STAN! He *bleep*in ROCKS!THE BAD: weapons re too expensive... too many ghosts.... too many dungeons.... SUMMARY: I really enjoyed this game, you really should buy it... that is... if your I.Q is over 130.... NOT for your average moron, far too deep. just buy it, you'll love it. |

THE GOOD: - story - set-up - difficulty - extent of playing timeTHE BAD: - things they say - childish - unrealistic SUMMARY: The game is really not that bad. It has a good story but they way things happen are radiculas. When the kid's sister is attacked and she's speaking pig-latin? How the father uses an 'evil' bottle thing to save her and make it very clear her 'curse' is not life-threatening? How the family is happy when the bottle chooses the boy? would not happen. The girl should have been dying, they should have begged that shadow king (Stan) to not take the boy, and they should've made it easier to tell the difference between the grandparents. The game was fun overall though. theirs just this ont dungeon i've been wandering in forever and i cont find my way to the boss. |

THE GOOD: Endearing character design, nice music, funny conversations, the best monsters ever, and a kickass femal characterTHE BAD: Humor is occasionally too childish... SUMMARY: The monsters make this game outstanding. They're rather a parody of other RPG games. My favorite is definitely the bunny. Don't dismiss this as a kiddie game. Though it takes a storybook format (w/ chapters and a narrator) the plot touches on some complex issues. Besides, you gotta love that Rosalyn, rather than the main boy, is the official hero. |

THE GOOD: This is one of the most original games I have ever played. The characters are fantastic. The plot is great and funny. And the style of the graphics is also great. The music was also another important aspectTHE BAD: The gameplay is lacking though. The dungeons are somewhat uninteresting. You also get little direction in where to go (I had to consult my game guide many times) It can also get quite hard at times SUMMARY: All in all it was a great game. I wouldn't suggest buying it unless you find it for cheap (under thirty dollars) It is definatly worth renting though |
