"...Encore Software is doing its best to combine the graphical punch and creativity of the original Dragon's Lair arcade game with actual gameplay instead of an endless progression of Shenmue-style Quick Time Events. From the beta version we played, the gameplay is clearly in there and implemented well enough, but problems with the frame rate, background graphics and minutia like the details of saving a game will have to be worked on before the game's October release."
