THE GOOD:Outstanding Graphics, huge cities, nice guns and beautiful cars.
THE BAD:
Storyline is short, predicible and boring. On-foot physics suck.
SUMMARY:
I am disappointed with this, it isn't all I was hoping for, the car controls are just fine, the on-foot sections are what really brings this down, they are un realistic, hard to get a hang of, and just plain annoying. The shooting isn't much to brag about either, I haven't got a clue what went so wrong in the development. This is defintely a disappointent.
I try to like it, honest, but it I a huge mess, it is all wrong, I was able to like it, until I won it, in which there was nothing else to do, the driving just isn't as fun as it was in Driver 2. The cities are good however.
The story, I don't understand what is such a big deal, Tanner mamages to get himself in such a muddle over 40 stolen cars. The story is weak, and bland. Big disappointment. -_-
Sounds: When you skid you make a quite annoying noise, but its not much, the engines don't sound like what I predicted, for example the Muscle cars don't make much of a humming noise.
Gameplay: The cars handling is the only thing I can really be positive about, the swimming is a nice touch, but boring, along with jumping and rolling. The whole out-of-car feel sucks, big mistake Reflections!
Graphics: Jagged, but nice on a low resolution screen, anyone could agree they are probably some of the best around, but the edges are way too contrasted.
Story: Not very good, the story seems more of a personal matter, nothing really works out into an interesting plot. Most missions only lead into something you can already see coming.
Controls: The whole L1 to get in a car and L2 to fire got me a bit confused, but they are sweet.
Overall: The game doesn't have the same feel as it did before, the controls are very irritating, I would agree with many this is a massive let down. The on-foot sections is what ruins it the most, and it has no replay value. Thumbs down Reflections, thumbs down.
