THE GOOD:

SUMMARY:
Most magazines and web sites tend not to review the Dynasty Warrior series that well. They claim that the games in the series just do not change, and that the lack innovation from title to title. While gameplay still remains the same, this title is still a lot better as well

The story is pretty nice. You choose between one of three kingdoms in ancient China and you control one general from that kingdom, and you continue the story of how it rose to power all the way up until it falls.

Graphically this game has been improved a lot. The character models no longer look so dull, and they are very well executed. Lip synchronizing is well done, but the FMV's are a bit unimpressive. I dunno why, but compared to what's out there now, they just weren't that appealing. The animation is nice, and I find it amazing that Koei can incorporate such graphics into a game where so much data and motion is involved. The scenes are...

THE GOOD:
this game was the best installment in the series yet and the added characters and better weapons system added more excitement to the game.the added stages blown me away there had to be at least 40 stages maybe more. the number of items now is phenomenal and the new characters (cao ren, zhou tai and yue ying) zhou tai is the coolest.

THE BAD:

The new musou system is ok but it would have been better if it had ofstayed the same.this is the only bad thing in the game.

SUMMARY:
You will not get bored of this game as there is 43 characters(i think,didn't count them) and u can max there stats out and get all there weapons.
The new weapons system operates over weapon experience which u get for doing combos on officers and defeating officers.
Some of the new itemsrbs(really cool)New harness(theres one that even prevents u from being hit off.
The new musou system lets u change characters after a battle and there is new and improved AI...

THE GOOD:
Fighting.
Scenes.
Fun and lasts ages.

THE BAD:
Only bad thing is some of the puzzles.

Never really finished the game, but I'm up to the last level. Looking for Wu. But here's my fully kick ass review.

Everyone buy this. This game will be like your best friend. The game is always gonna be good if you like Violence, DW 1, 2 or 3 and if you prefer non-pansie games like GTA and THUG. But if you like Poke'mon, then you're gonna hate this. This game is freaking hard and only smart game-violent people will finish the game, in like ages.

If you want this game, I respect you and you'll be surprised about what I LIKE about this game. The other kingdoms are freaking heard to kill without enough skill. Now you really must be concentrating the whole time you play.

The Final Battle aganist Wu is wicked hard and annoying!

Other Kingdoms other than three Shu Kingdoms are too short.
Too much fun, cannot stop playing it

SUMMARY:
Overall this game is good. If you been a fan of DW this series is worth it. Zhou Tai and Cao Ren has some nice moves. This time you can play other Kingdoms in Musou Mode, Namman, Yuan Shao, Lu Bu, Dhoua Shou and Yellow Tubans.
Also the two new Edit Modes will keep you playing this game forever, ten times better than DW3, I recommend you get this game, a very good hack and slash and challenging.

THE GOOD:
Just about everything. It holds your attention for quite a while because of all of the different characters and weapons you can power up.

THE BAD:
I can't play this game while I'm at school SCHOOL SUCKS!

SUMMARY:
This game is probably one of my all-time favorite games. Even if you beat the games once you still haven't completely mastered it. There's 7 different kingdoms each with their unique story line. Also, there are over 40 different characters to power up as well as over 40 weapons to max out. The graphics are very good and the story line is excellent. Most of the characters are unique and very well made. No flaws in this entire game and trust me on this one.

The only flaw in this game I can think of is that their is not that many stages to play.

SUMMARY:
The best game ever because it has three new characters which is a total of 42 characters! You can change your favorite characters into six different costumes. The stages are big and not small like in DW3. It is also easy to max out characters and you can get 10th weapons. The reach has improve so you can hit faraway enemies. I've skipped the good and the bad as there's no point in it.

This is the great game of 2004. Basically I love games where you kick butt. When I played on a demo of 3 I fell in love with the whole concept of Dynasty Warriors. Like a lot of the reviewers said it makes the genre pround and I think Koei should give themselves a pat on the back.
When I saw the price of the game in my local shop, I sort of went into fits. A game of this quality at such a cheap price. This is one the most sound, amazing, majestic game of the year.
Each year you get one game that stands out. 1999 Metal Gear Solid the first 3-D stealth game ever. 2003 Grand Theft Auto one of my most favoured games of all time, and now DW4 which made an amazing entrance to the game world, even though Dynasty Warriors has already made it's place in gaming heaven, the took gaming to the next level by turning a slightly ordinary sequel with nothing new to offer into a work of art.

The amount of anger you can take out on this game while slaughtering armies and building up characters, Da Qiao..^.^

some of the characters sucked in this game...and the Gate Capitans no longer carry Defense points.

SUMMARY:
This game is alot better than 3...Some characters that were in three that transfered to 4, got better when you play as them in 4 rather in three..Take Zhang He for example..on 3 he stunk..but when i played as him in 4 he became my favorite charater..well besides Da Qiao...Some other characters evoled as well..Lu Bu, Da Chan...I can't wait to see what they do to DW5...Another thing that was good..you had spilt item uses..One for a Harness, one for an Orb..and up to 6 of the Stat Items. Plus the addition of the Orbs helped out alot better, because they added damage with your attacks.
