SUMMARY:
Final Fantasy X is a fantastic RPG. The game has a real good storyline, making you want to countinue the game to see what happens later on in the game. The amazing battle system is real cool, ecspecially the Sphere Grid. Unlike most games, in FFX, you level up by gaining sphere levels, and using them in the Sphere Grid to raise your stats, learn new abilities, and go to other characters sphere grids to learn new abilities! It's simply fantastic. The CGI cut-scenes are just so fricking cool! They look AMAZING! FFX also includes awesome boss fights, it has probably some of the coolest boss fights in video game history. But some bosses can be extremely hard, making you have to level up like crazy.
The game is long too, with a real long replay value too. People can spend over hundreds of hours to do everything in the game, like getting the the ultimate weapons, secret aeons, etc. Once you beat the main game, that doesn't mean you should stop playing, because you should have a lot more things to do!
The things that bugged me though was the fact that there is random battles, and random battles suck. Personally, I would've liked it more if you were able to see your enemy before you fight it. The blitzball was real lame in my opinion. Didn't really like it. The main thing that bugged me is that you can't skip cut scenes, and FFX has real long cut scenes, so it can be annoying if you lose against and boss, you'll have to go through the cut scene before the boss again.
FFX is a super great game. If you're a fan of RPGs, and you have a PS2, buy this game. It's currently 20 bucks, which is a steal.
