THE GOOD:Nice driving school, helps people to drive well, lovely graphics and set of cars, tracks, and special disc with extras.
THE BAD:
Limited number of tracks.
SUMMARY:
Well, getting the first taste of GT4 is quite nice, but this is nothing special to me, I never liked the licenses in GT3, and they never liked me, while this is great, it is too similar to those tests in previous Gran Turismo games.
Apart from that, the cars seem to all be fairly basic, family style cars, you get a few nice racing cars, but most seem to be the old Renault or Spoon, a lot of the later cars are good however, and the tracks are great. I love the Grand Canyon, being a fan of Rallying, the New York track is similar to the Tokyo R246 track from GT3, just narrower, the Fuji Speedway is good, the Italian Track is my favorite, the narrow stone streets. And the last, which I have forgotten the name of, isn't bad either.
Ulitmately, I like this, I have always liked Gran Turismo, this is nothing too great though, for the price it is going for, it is worth it, but it is nothing great, of coarse it is only an extended demo. Has to get one of my lower marks.
Graphics: State of the art, like Gran Turismo 3, but better.
Sounds: With it all being Lessons, I haven't heard any music yet.
Gameplay: Having to always keep to the exact route can grow boring, but it is good all the same.
Controls: The average racing style.
Overall: Being a demo, it is nothing great, but having a taste of GT4 is a nice thing, I think the Driving School idea was put to good use, but it is pretty much the whole game.
